completely unrelated cause phil was on the pay no mind list today after popping in and out of his prestream to see if he got his laptop. Really confused when the bankrupt beggar said a game that sold 1.9 mill in like 3 days was a flop BUT I finally figured out wtf he was going on about with ubisoft, assassin's creed and overwatch and now I'm more than before...

Dsp more than likely just bought this computer himself but imagine being a 40 year old man and being giddy and excited about receiving and opening up an expensive item some stranger sent you basically out of pity and/or guilt. Have some self respect phil. He has no shame or any semblance of dignity at this point. I would be embarrassed as hell if I got to the point that I was such a charity case that I had to accept gifts like this. Its just weird to accept so much money and gifts from strangers, and he actually LIKES doing it. He sets up all these sob stories about how poor and pathetic he is to guilt trip his fans into giving him money and gifts and he happily accepts it all. Its really just pathetic.

This laptop business reminds me of when Phil said that using a camera to record the screen with Phil's surround sound system would enhance the viewer's experience as opposed to using direct-capture and using headphones.

In a peculiar selfish way, Phil seems to be focused on enhancing the experience for himself, but of course he has to act like he is doing it for the fans (phil claiming that seeing donos faster would be a benefit for his viewers). I think this also goes with why Phil still insists on playing on his flat screen TV instead of sitting at his desk and investing in a green screen to enhance the viewer's experience.

I mean, it's telling that he has come up with another excuse for not using the Stream Deck peripheral...

"I'm not running my stream through this laptop" is why he can't use the stream deck

What's really interesting to me is, if his setup really does preclude him from using Stream Deck with his laptops - and since I don't since I don't stream, I don't know the technicals about this specifically (to those of you who do, help a brotha' out) - why did he even bother using his outdated edition of Windows as an excuse in the first place!?!

I think my favorite thing about this is how absolutely nothing will change with the stream itself. Looking forward to hearing what new thing he should just buy will definitely improve the stream now.

That laptop probably has a better camera than the standalone cam he uses now, no chance it ever gets turned on.

It only took him about a day to slip with the series X. Ya know when he buys new systems he likes cables...I mean the system was donated.

It was the last line. He mentioned how he likes cables coming with new systems he buys then had a hard stop with a bit of eye movement before correcting himself saying the xbox was donated again. Think it was the first stream with the series X too.

Whenever he does anything that effects his stream like rearranging shit on the screen he does it from the current laptop. Is that StreamElements? He bans from the laptop, the camera is plugged into the laptop and I'm pretty sure the mic is too. His PC is across the room. What am I missing? Why can't the streamdeck be used?

Mr. Computer Builder Man could have put together a respectable PC for less than this POS 2 core laptop cost him.

He could then beg his fans for a cheap monitor, use a wireless keyboard and mouse and have a big boy streaming setup.

I know this isn't the ideal setup for a streamer but it blows away the Target special that he bought and it comes out to only $602:

MB: B450
Mem: 16gb 3600mhz
Storage: 1tb m.2
Case: nzxt h510 ATX
PS: EVGA 600w 80+ Bronze

This would also give him the opportunity to drop in a vidya card once the prices normalize and be able to play actual PC games.
