This is the necklace that was commissioned for Madame Du Barry, but King Louis XV died before it was completed and so Madame Du Barry never got it. As you might guess from looking at it, it was super expensive because it had a shit-tonne of diamonds, so it fucked the jeweller over since he couldn't sell it. A con artist pretended to buy it on Marie-Antoinette's behalf and then Marie Antoinette got in the shit because she refused to pay for it, since she didn't ask to buy it and never received it. It massively damaged Marie Antoinette's reputation, because France was struggling at the time and it was perceived that Marie Antoinette was spending the French coffers on frivolous extravagance and also trying to get out of paying. Contra's also posing in an 18th century look with a bloody neck, which presumbly references Marie Antoinette getting the guillotine.

There's also a bunch of evil eyes. Evil eyes are supposed to deflect negative energy. The cultures that use them are often in the context of someone being envious of e.g. how pretty your little girl is, and then that envy curses the little girl if that energy isn't displaced.

There also seems to be a reference to the Evil Queen cursing Snow White (because she was envious of how beautiful she was) with a poisoned apple, while a monochrome Contra has green eyes (as in green eyed, like green with envy).

I'd assume the video is about people being spiteful because they're jealous of you.

I'm still assuming that this video is Justice part 2. If it isn't, then I'm doubtful he's ever going to get around to making a part 2 to Justice part 1.

Ugh. I am sure it's garbage. The teaser he posted looked like amateur art student video art crap. What shocks me the most is the endless praise and simping he gets for such mediocre output. He still has all his patrons and he hasn't posted a video for five fucking months. Are you kidding me? All the wannabe copycats like Philosophy Tube and Jessie Gender bought their own blue and red gels and have been running circles around him.

Lol ofc we will. We'll be called the cockroaches of the Internet or something or other. He won't name the farms and 4chan, but im sure he'll allude to them, and will propagate the belief that all negativity stems from those unmoderated and uncensored parts of the web.

Sure Nyk can sperg that the whole Buck Angel transmedicalist angle of the voiceover was first pointed out here, but at the end of the day, he has to reckon with the fact that members of his own audience were at the forefront of his cancelation campaign over a 20 second voice clip.

Besides, maybe he'll make it a 7 part series and cover all the other deadly sins. He could talk about the greed of 1% of top earners in one vid. Then the pride which drives people who think they can re-engineer society through postmodernism and technocracy. Then one on the gluttony of opiod addicts. Followed by the lust engendered through the quest to attain the female form. The wrath which is inflamed by people who form politically problematic opinions about the world. Finally He can end with the sloth which accompanies procrastination and neglect of duties.

hey i'm a long time lurker, first time poster. On the video trailer Contra posted it said that she would probably get it done this week if she gets around to it. This seems to be something that she does a lot, or at least for her longer videos.

made an account just to ask why all of you are so obsessed with her. if you despise her as much as you do why are you so upset that she hasn't uploaded for so long? why do you follow her as closely as you do? i mean how do you actively use this forum without reflecting on your life's decisions? do you not think this is getting out of hand? do you not cringe at yourself at all? i'm generally curious, i just want to understand what it is that brings you here

I do not hate Contra at all. In fact, there aren't really any lolcows that I do hate, except for actual wastes of life like Kero the Wolf and his group of freaks. All of the threads i watch or participate in are of people I have no personal malice or agenda towards. Why would I despise Contra? At the end of the day, Natalie has never crossed me or done anything personal to me, yet I still talk shit occasionally on this thread.

Have you ever sat at a cafe? Or a restaurant? Were you ever bored at school and glanced around at your classmates? Chances are that you have made judgements on those people that you have observed: observations that may have sparked some kind of dialogue in your head, or consideration of a plethora of topics that link to your said observation of that person or people.

Some observations are shallow and stupid, like "oh weird, that persons hair is green" or "ew, she chews gum with her mouth open, i can almost hear the squishing sound!", but sometimes, one idea can lead to another, and at least for myself, the simple glance at a persons ripped jeans can cause a sequence of thinking that allows me to realize aspects of Diogenes and his philosophy, and the particular ways it affects our subtle resistance to acclimating to the modern world. You may not agree with me on that but that's not really the point.

The thing is, observing weird people live out their lives and do random bullshit is fascinating, because it causes the viewers to consider facts about our own lives and society that we may not have considered otherwise. That is how philosophers develop theories, artists create their scenes, comedians write their jokes. Kiwi Farms happens to be a place where one can find similar people who share interests with one another, which in this case, happens to be a Youtuber who is addicted to opium and really bad at debating Blaire White.
