Everyone knows that the "donation" line is a lie, Phil knows everyone knows, but the key thing is it doesn't matter -he's still making $200+ a day because the same few retards keep on throwing money at him. He's successfully managed to twist $200 into being a "bad" stream, despite that being the tips goal he survived comfortably on for several years prior to the de-partnering. It's amazing that there's somehow an inverse correlation between how terribly his channel is doing , and how much money he's making- I've honestly not seen this phenomenon in any other media creator.
Also it's super to think green screen or new webcam is going to happen. Do you honestly, really think Phil is ever going to do anything that improves the stream for anyone but him? Everything he's gotten so far has been for his benefit, once we've got the chair the "donations" are going to stop. Anyone who suggests Phil buys anything else is going to be a mentally ill moron, he has bills to pay, cat son is starving, etc etc, with the reminder that he's not bought anything in months, everything you're seeing is because of the anonymous donations.

Although it's going to be interesting to see what happens once he's run out of stuff to buy and isn't getting that sweet, sweet dopamine rush anymore. There's evidence that he's been binging more on his usual copium methods: alongside the ever-present gatcha whaling, he's gotten noticeably fatter and he's drunk as fuck every stream. Those habbits aren't working so he's taken to making big purchases. What's going to be next? Porn addiction is a possibility but I think he's too low-T for that. If he wasn't such a fucking loser I'd be waiting for the drug addiction arc, but let's be real, Phil is too much of a bitch to ever interact with a drug dealer.

A Key thing he listed in his Bankruptcy call were that "Micro transactions were part of his business expenses". I doubt the court ever bothered to look any further into it than that, so his $5k expenses probably covers several thousand he burns through trying to get that shiny Hogan Jpeg

It's funny too because all he would have had to do is say something like "well, we were going to do an unboxing today, but (insert short synopsis of bitching) so I'm going to postpone the unboxing until this is fixed." It's just such an obvious common sense thing to do, that you'd think that literally, anyone in his position would have done that.

I’m not sure Phil knows enough about any subject to spend even a huge amount of money wisely unless it’s on a new game console (which have limited, prebuilt models which offer no customization choices), or a pile of games, Blu-Rays or gatcha (and that last one is arguable on account of spending any money on gatcha being at least a little foolish). If he dropped $2k on a rig it’d have been on some ridiculous prebuilt monstrosity and everyone would’ve laughed at him for it and called him a casual (accurately). Plus he would’ve had to have carried it upstairs.

Your comment made me think of a video I recently watched, that is literally this.

A dude that makes videos for a living but is not PC savy, so he orders some kind of pre-built monstruosity from Dell. Goes as well as you can imagine. Highly recommend leaving it on the background while doing something since it's a tad long.

God you can almost hear the fake enthusiasm through the screen. It's as bad as hearing it on stream when he acts excited about something in the game, or just lazily gives off a fake chuckle about something. You can't even kiss ass creatively Phil. "To be fair" to DSP, because there is PLENTY to laugh at, I'm pretty sure he pays his mortgage/HOA with that money. So that's $2K of the $3K right there.

I think it's pretty clear he used to pay his actual real-life bills with his Twitch monthly payment and then all of his tips went to his Champions/spending money.

Since he also announced last month that he'll probably hold one begathon a month, we can probably expect him to buy get a behind-the-scenes pre-built donated lemon PC 2-3 days after August's begathon. He'll spend the rest on a surprise behind-the-scenes donation of a pair of headphones, high-grade gin, authentic Italian TV dinners, a new gay cowboy hat, a set of lorica segmentata to show off his robust Itahlien heritage or whatever other bullshit to "enhance his streams" which suspiciously enough never enhances the stream for the viewer, only for the gluttonous pig. Funny how that works.

LOL. When Dave lowered the goal to $100 per stream, I think he complained about it on the first day then was back to the usual goal a few days later. He was in a better financial situation then too. The goal will be back to $200 in less than a week.

His expenses were NEVER $5K. The condo is still there, though it will eventually get taken away. His "$5K in business expenses" were a result of him putting what he was spending on gacha

It really is remarkable how illogical his actions and decisions are. He always does things in the most roundabout and drama-seeking ways. He could have simply said: “Hey guys, for the past year I’ve been secretly saving up money for an Xbox, a laptop and a new chair. Surprise!” Instead, he comes up with unbelievable and suspicious stories to justify his purchases. Again, with the laptop, he could have simply bought one and never told anyone. It’s not like we can see the darn thing.
Why the fuck does he think this way? What is he trying to do? Flex on the detractors that he has charitable fans?

He lives his life like he plays Dark Souls. He keeps backing himself into corners with those unbelievable lies and excuses and when the consequences catch up to him (when the camera in Dark Souls isn’t cooperating) he simply lashes out at anyone but himself (blaming the devs for not fixing the camera).

Throughout his entire internet presence, he trials more and more incredulous things just to see what he can get away with. When something sticks, he just repeats it and then pushes it. He used to think a tips goal was too much, but after he tried it and it worked, he’s been pushing it further and further. He used to think a 30minute pre-stream was too long but necessary. Now it’s 90minutes and necessary. He didn’t always take after-prestream bathroom breaks, but slowly and methodically he made them mandatory. Same with the begging of course. The begging is only getting worse because he gets away with it. So he keeps pushing it and pushing it. No reason to come up with new excuses if the past ones worked. Before the bankruptcy it was bills, after the bankruptcy it’s still bills.

He plays the victim because he must be a victim. His victim mentality is an integral part of his life. Without it, he can’t rationalize his own behaviour. He feels coerced into begging by the trolls and those booksmart people on Youtube and Twitch that done him wrong.

He admitted that he accepts tips from unverified paypals during the early stream. He has not announced this before, but when someone complained that they couldnt tip because verification was taking a long time, he just casually admitted that he verifies the tips himself if they are unverified. Before it was verified or bust. Curious.

The 'verified' bullshit has been a ruse all along. If people were actually verified, he wouldn't have needed his gayop code words.
