I care, though. I care very much about how you guys spend your money.
I'd buy a page, but all my money goes into pickle suit repair *yawn*
I wouldn't trust Chris to make #11. The "List of Chris' Lies" page exists for a reason.
Eh, this is something he really wants to do and he's not known for violating his financial obligations. He was actually a very solid ebay seller overall. Unless volume overwhelms him or something, and even then, you can email him to get status updates.

You should have worn it to the Omegacon. Just wear goggles.

For people who aren't planning on giving Chris money for content- it's fine that you're not going to do that. It's your money, after all. But you don't need to make a post just to say that you aren't going to buy anything. Nobody cares.

But then how will everyone brag about being superior to everyone else?

Neither I am an expert about Etsy but, we still get a drawing for every "donation" so, even if she uses that term, aren't we actually just paying for a commission? It doesn't really sound illegal.

But again, I don't know how Etsy works.

EDIT:now that I think about it, maybe that's why she's sending a drawing to every donor, so she can still use the "donation" option without breaking the rules of the site. It sounds like a smart move... Too smart for Chris.
I wonder how much the "anonymous benefactor" is involved.

Well for one thing it's labeled as a donation, so I'd wager that technically you would have agreed that the money was for a donation and not a transaction, so it's outside the terms of whatever the website says because it would only talk about transactions, so now the deal is on Chris's terms, ensuring yourself to have zero recourse if Chris breaks his promise. Interestingly he didn't say how long each drawing would take which strictly speaking can include eternity, bypassing whatever deadline a "transaction" might mandate. I didn't pry too deep into Etsy's actual terms, but most of the donation related terms of use only talk about actively soliciting people, couldn't find anything against setting up a sale page for donations.

Yeah I actually asked her about a specific date on Etsy and, as everyone can see, she just glossed over the question.
But for now it looks like @Trickie 's drawing has been sent and Chris actually shipped all the Ebay items she sold, even if late. So I don't really think Chris is going to just steal money.

Reactions: Marvin and Bridechu
I talked to William a little while ago. He said that Chris's debt is steadily increasing and he's becoming desperate to pay it off. Which is probably why he's doing things like this.

He also said that Chris sent him something from Sonichu 11, but I'm not sure if I believe him.

Watermelon very well could be the financier that Chris mentioned.

Did he edit the listing? It now says you can get your name in the back of the next Sonichu (if you want) which I haven't seen anyone mention. Like, if it was just throwing $10 at him I'd agree it's dumb but $10 for a Hand-Drawn Original and also getting your name in Sonichu isn't a bad deal.
