How specific was he regarding intended target? Saying "I want to murder 3000 sorority girls" is rather nonspecific. Barely qualifies as an internet shit talking death threat or any day ending in Y. What are the actual specific elements of the charged crime? Did he have an actual automatic weapon? Did he have a clear target in mind. An identifiable sorority house that he had the reasonable ability and oportunity to travel to. Did he have specific named targets?

It's the result of being an insolated social community which causes a feedback loop. This sort of behavior isn't particularly unique to incels, you can see it in vegans, cults, and other groups that base their identity on being outside the societal norm. Incel "dogma" so to speak purports to give an explanation as to why Stacey won't touch their penis through secret truths like "blackpills" that only the ever-so-astute incels can observe about society.

When you exist in a group space that cuts itself off from "society," you limit your communications and information input to people who already believe the same as you.
