He also fails to understand that nations that just make cheap consumer goods like china are more destroyed in wars because their economy is heavily dependent on foreign trade where America could survive without China but China without western trade would have its economy completely implode.

The United States most assuredly could manufacture to the level of China and remain profitable and relatively cheap for American consumers. The issue then is that American Corporations wouldn't be able to play the stock market like they have been for decades. This isn't even taking into consideration that China is suppressing their currency intentionally, even as it is starting to show an inability to work. Their workers are paid about the same as is comparable to other nation's steel industries. They're losing that cheapness edge they once had. All the while they've spent their resources and money on infrastructure that isn't in use, and is actively falling apart. Consuming more of their own resources for internal projects than is exported.

China is a paper tiger whose bubble would burst if they got into war with the United States. The United States would suffer a great deal if they went to war in the short term, and the president that presided over that would suffer greatly. They're both locked in a stale mate and China isn't making the right moves to take advantage of the United States weaknesses. Since they're repeating many of the same mistakes and as such will reach the same end faster than the United States did.

Beyond that, this is something that has bothered me regarding a lot of internet political commentators. Why do they constantly use literal cartoon shows, many of them being made for younger viewers, to try and justify their recent political developments? Is it a dangerous lack of book consumption, or some kind of coping mechanism to try and justify their viewpoints with characters that are appealing to large swaths of people? I don't know, but I always get the vibe that the same kinds of people who unironically use children's cartoons to justify their politics are the same kinds of "grown-ups" that still eat children's breakfast cereals.

I had a roommate in College who cited Bug's Life & Shark Tale as her "Communist awakening", needless to say she was one of the most insufferable people I've ever met. The worst part is that I honestly think this sort of behavoir is worryingly common amongst zoomers.
