Progress has gone very slow, but when you stop and think, it really dawns on you just how extreme things have gotten.

If you explained what is considered normal and accepted in 2021 to someone from 1950.... at this point they won't even think it's hell, they would outright not believe things could ever get this extreme. They'd laugh, thinking you're making some weird joke. Just the idea that it will be considered "normal" to inject puberty blockers in children to change their sex. Just that alone would seem outlandish, borderline sci-fi dystopian, to someone from back then.

For me, the clearest example of how drastically things have accelerated in recent times is J.K. Rowling.

5 years ago she was a woke darling; the poster child for progressives and feminists alike. With her super-enlightened takes on refugees, making Dumbledore a peter puffer and lying that there was every possibility Hermione had always been a black character, there seemed to be no issue where she wasn't willing to bend over backwards to accommodate the SJW crowd. And they LOVED her for it.

Fast forward to Current Year and Rowling is now one of the most despised people on the planet, unironically accused of committing genocide. It's at the point where any time new Harry Potter content is announced they have to make it clear she isn't associated with it, and even then you still get people in the comments whining about transphobia.

The most pandering progressive female celebrity I can think of is now Literally Hitler in a matter of years. If that's not a wake-up call to people that this is getting out of hand I dunno what it'll take.

I think the reasons lesbians haven’t done this successfully (they have tried, with groups such as Get The L Out) are complex. You are correct. As a matter of fact my girlfriend only peaked when she finally realized that surgery didn't actually turn them into women. She's the generic super-late millenial sheltered tumblerina adjascent, so I'm pretty sure that's just how most women 25 or younger think about trannies up until they get a transbian with a boner and balls outline in their miniskirt all up in their face demanding to get sucked.

Not because of the trans thing but because a lot of older adopted kids seems to have issues (probably they were given to wealthy family to save them from a sad fate in their country of origin). Or at least, in my personal experience. I could be a statistical anomaly tho.
