It was pretty dead until The Gulagging/The Joshening when the Dark Eye first cast its baleful gaze on our humble thread and there was a huge influx of butthurt fags like myself. During the recent The DDOSening, someone who's been accused of being Stenogopher started Kiwi-tual Vtubers, but most of the members are also in VToilet, so it doesn't see a lot of action unless people want to bitch about Alte cause he's not there.

I agree, I think Pippa is playing the smart game with catering to her audience and not openly embracing Kiwi Farms, which as of now is one-way ticket. She may get hit with this "cancel Kiwi Farms" shit and this is the last thing an aspiring vtuber wants to happen. I'm perfectly fine with her not admitting to lurking (or maybe even posting) here and I hope it stays that way, for her own good.

I rarely watch full streams of English vtubers, but this I will watch. I will even throw a modest amount of simpbucks if I catch it live, which can be difficult, as almost all Pippa's streams are in the middle of the night for me (and if I have to wake up in the middle of the night for a hobby, I will quit this hobby the next morning).

can always watch the more boomer chuubas, and you have to remember this thread mostly talks about drama, happenings or the more popular ones because there's more to talk about and/or more people watch them. take @Cubanodun posts up a few for example, hardly anyone ever talks about mio unless she shows up in a collab or something out of the ordinary comes up, but the streams are comfy af and hardly ADHD. same for roboco (if she plays something else than apex), aki etc., and that's just hololive, not mentioning niji etc and all the indies. watch prune

might be hard to get into, especially if you're not weeb-inclined, but I'd assume most people watch them for the personality and hijinks, cute animu avatar is just a bonus, and the danger that it veers off into e-thot territory is slim. it's one of the reasons talk stream works, no one in his right mind wants to interact with the average "influencer" tard that just makes annoying reaction noises and regurgitates the latest hot takes for ad money. if you wanna go full boomer treat it like talk radio and go from there.
