They're a clip channel that got their start clipping Hana Macchia and Amano Pikamee, that got a big boost of popularity with Hololive EN. Not sure about the outro VA thing. It does sound kind of different from her talking voice on stream, I'd believe it.

Not putting out content for a week or two probably wouldn't affect much, Even one or two months if you're popular enough. Even long term breaks are viable in a company like Hololive. It might just be Marine's side of the parasocial relationship acting up, her being afraid that her fans are fairweather and fickle and will abandon her. And hell, lots of people are fickle and easily distracted by the next big, shiny thing, I wouldn't say it's unreasonable.
