Damit why dose all the fun stuff happen when I'm at work. Do we even know Soda Funk did this stream in the first place?

Considering this wasn't a debut steam or whatever, what was he/she trying to achieve?

Interesting that the tags for Soda's 'not-debut' seem to be loaded towards Hololive EN keywords to game the SusanTube algorithm (not like we haven't seen this before).

Feels like an opportunistic cash grab to me, projecting a 'cute uwu girl's gigglefest' ("Look at my tiny backwards Crocs! Tee-hee!") and turning on superchats like that. I wonder if Ollie realizes it's a dude behind all of this?

Yeah, I think this is definitely a cash grab move by him. A real scummy one at that. Looks like another Zen situation, but Soda haven't said explicitly said he's a girl, so there a technicality on that.
Either way, I have been suspicious about him ever since I realized he used someone's art as mascot. This guy really can't do anything by himself and only leeches on someone else

Soda also uses a Pixiv artist's artworks as their avatar and I have a hunch they aren't using it with their consent. If they decide to monetize this shit, grab your popcorn, buddies!

They can use the art with the artist's consent, but nobody fucking does that anyways. Guess what, Walfie didn't let me use his art as my avatar and I still do it anyways, but I'm just a random nigga on Kiwi Farms and not some Clipper, I literally can't make any money from this shit while Soda is doing so, which has some potential for cow antics if the artist finds out!

I might misremembered it, but I don't think he credited the artist on the videos, just the twitter bio. Also the problem is some people now associate the character with Soda instead of the original artist, which mean a potential revenue loss to the artist on top of loss of recognition

They're a clip channel that got their start clipping Hana Macchia and Amano Pikamee, that got a big boost of popularity with Hololive EN. Not sure about the outro VA thing. It does sound kind of different from her talking voice on stream, I'd believe it.

Yep, even the Nijifans at the Chans dislike Sodafunk for outright dropping his oshi Hana when HoloEN blew up.

Dude hasn't uploaded any Hana Macchia clips since. Also, it was already common knowledge that he's a dude. So blame newfags and Ollie I guess

I'm always on the belief that Ollie is kind of an idiot for just approaching everyone and anyone without a second thought. I mean, that's fine, but someone should have learn about avoiding people if necessary, especially when they're an entertainer or public figure

I wonder if Ollie will get tard-wrangled now that she's endorsed a stream that soft-doxxes a fellow Holomen.

I get that it's kind of become her 'thing' that she simps for everyone and shows up in random places, and even though I don't believe in having a tight leash on any members, she does need to possess some sense of personal responsibility to avoid this.
