I don't think he'll end up in jail, he's one of the few people where an insanity defense might actually work out. Him casually admitting this is a pointer. This is probably actually worse because if they lock him up in the funny farm, he won't be out for a very, very long time.

What a twist. Would've never guessed. It is not that shocking though, dude needed set limits he never got, now he crossed a boundary where there's no turning back or teflon-'tarding out of it.

What a morbid end.
I'm finding it very hard to believe this would ever even be the charge that he'd go to court on, if he did at all. It's extremely unlikely.
What they have now, from what we know (a tacit admission from a mentally handicapped man isn't exactly solid), they don't even have a good prima facie case for it.
I'd wager to say they couldn't even charge him with elder abuse.
It's enough for whatever agency is responsible in Virginia for elder care, but that's not the same quantification as a court needs.

Never mind the expense of this, the man hours, the media attention, the never-ending all over cost of this to a dept. that is already underfunded and overloaded.

Everyone here keeps moralizing, but as to whether it's provably true or not, the reality is that, honestly, this kind of thing happens more often than you'd expect.

If you spend any time at a local court in just about any country, you hear stories like this repeated over and over again amongst the low-income types. Worse things than this never get prosecuted.

That doesn't mean that intervention won't be granted for Barb or Chris, whether it be because he's incapable of taking care of her/the house is a health hazard etc. But charging him with a crime would be low-yield for the whole system.

Barb may not have been responsible for preventing herself from being raped, she's old and out of it. But the reality of Barb's life is a life full of manipulation, sexual deviancy, lying, cheating, and a complete disregard for family. Barb convinced Bob to cheat on his wife, and the evidence is in how Cole treats her.

Barb is fully responsible for being a terrible mother. She's one of the main, if not the main, reason why Chris's life is meaningless and hollow ever since his dad died. Bob gave him structure, he cared, he instructed him. Bob is an example of how a father should be. But he was a tired, and it always takes a village, especially with a giant manchild like Chris.

This is my opinion and I'm sticking to it, this is all Barb's fault, Bob kept him in line without obstructing his freedom, and he did it the best American way he knew how. Barb let him go to the dogs to be chewed to pieces by retards who pull their pugs to Chris crying and trannies that see a blank slate to manipulate, like every other child in their perview of Twitter.
So what you’re essentially saying is Barb deserved to be raped because she’s a bad mother?

the fact you care more about 'transphobia' than the fact someone raped someone shows you're just as mentally ill as Chris is
Isn't pretending to be something you aren't and raping your mother a good reason to have a phobia of something?

"I don't care that he raped someone". That fucking says it all. You'd never say that if it was a normal white man.

Everybody remembers CWC's deviant exploits but have forgotten how shitty Barb has been her entire adult life

It's been 200 pages since yesterday evening, so i've got a question. Any updates on chris and the situation?
Chris had his invitation to stay with extended family rescinded.
Someone paid for a hotel last minute.
Null is having the gofundme money refunded.
Geno is putting the documentary on hiatus.
People keep saying the same one-liners and posting the same memes that you got sick of yesterday.

The fact that you used "prima facie" entirely incorrectly tells me you need to stop arm chairing this process. In fact, there is no part of your post that is correct or even sensical.

Elder abuse is a serious crime in many states, including Virginia. Incest between son and mother is a Class 5 felony in Virginia. Rape is obviously a serious crime that will be investigated as well, especially relevant if the victim lacks the capacity to consent. If the hospital did a rape kit as was reported here, that belies that the caregivers themselves will report this to the police if Barb doesn't have the capacity or understanding to do so.

Chris may be a longtime source of entertainment for many, but this is nothing but a serious situation for Chris. And it's an investigator's dream -- the confession has practically been written out for them. And in cases like this, it STILL takes time to make an arrest. It's not like TV.
