What they have now, from what we know (a tacit admission from a mentally handicapped man isn't exactly solid), they don't even have a good prima facie case for it.
I'd wager to say they couldn't even charge him with elder abuse.
It's enough for whatever agency is responsible in Virginia for elder care, but that's not the same quantification as a court needs.

Never mind the expense of this, the man hours, the media attention, the never-ending all over cost of this to a dept. that is already underfunded and overloaded.

Everyone here keeps moralizing, but as to whether it's provably true or not, the reality is that, honestly, this kind of thing happens more often than you'd expect.

If you spend any time at a local court in just about any country, you hear stories like this repeated over and over again amongst the low-income types. Worse things than this never get prosecuted.

That doesn't mean that intervention won't be granted for Barb or Chris, whether it be because he's incapable of taking care of her/the house is a health hazard etc. But charging him with a crime would be low-yield for the whole system.

Spot on with this.

Pages back I said the same, What the state / county can prove and what they know are two different things.

The big thing is Chris is not being held and has not been arrested yet, If they had a rape kit and it came back positive that little tard would be getting interviewed.

At best Barb gets a Guardian appointed by the state.

Josh was too impatient to wait till Chris kicks the bucket, so he made Chris fuck his mom to boost the value of the silver coin imagery.

now when collectors of christory want a silver coin they have to buy it secondhand from someone else for 5x the price.

There is a reason trolls always made incest jokes about him. Over the years Chris has made notions that he was into incest, along with zoophilia. While it was always sort of thrown around as Chris's rampant autism that caused the things he said to come off as incestuous, the text messages and audio recording fully confirm he has an incest kink.

Now, I have outlined that Chris is a chronic liar, who will lie to make himself look better than he actually is, and that he is into incest. If you combine all these together you could make the argument he was lying about fucking his mother just to make himself look impressive. Chris in the past has bragged about having sex with people (be it that one time with the prostitute or his made up lies). The leaked audio and messages were sent to a girl, Chris was probably trying to impress her with his sexual ability by lying about the acts he did to his mother.

''But why would Chris later confirm through the Dillan messages?!'' Despite being in trouble, Chris would still be proud of the fact that it is known he had sexual intercourse with Barb. Probably embarrassed and sad he's in trouble but still probably liked the idea of people knowing that.

Even saying all this, I still believe he did it. There is a lot of hype to instantly call him guilty, while it is still somewhat left open ended.

Always makes sense to remain skeptical until more details come out, but I sort of disagree here with the lying. Yes Chris lies, but Chris also OVERSHARES, a key trait with autistic people. Most of the shit that came out about him came from his own admission in public videos or DMs. They were not lies, they were real things he did.

Add onto that oversharing trait, you have excessive detail, which in his case was usually true, and fully demonstrated in his 9 minute audio recording here.

Its possible its a complete lie, but unlikely. We should wait for the elder abuse evaluation and see what that shows. I think its likely there was a troll egging him on that encouraged this, but ultimately he is the one who (potentially) went through with it and did the deed.

If somehow this ends up being a lie (or they cant prove abuse), it still is a turning point for Chris. Social workers are going to evaluate everything now. Could see him or Barb put into assisted living or something else.
