Goddammit, I just watched this last night. Eerie coincidence.
Phil could win a Darwin for sure, or keel over from a heart attack/stroke, but I don't think Phil would ever commit suicide. He's totally pussy when it comes to potential discomfort outside his locus of control. Phil is the type that can't escape the fear of those first few moments of something new and scary (ie, putting up with the Covid vaccine making you sick for half a day; the risk of being safe from a problem for life isn't worth a few minutes of pain). The fear of two hours under a dentist's drill is too much to consider getting his teeth fixed, even though they're in dire need of medical attention.
His mental gymnastics and contrarianism is the kind that he will always spin his continued survival into a form of spite to justify continuing on. Because in his mind, not dying would be the easiest thing to do. He doesn't die everyday.
tl;dr Phil would ironically survive a Jigsaw trap because he would paradoxically rise to do the bare minimum not to die.

Okay I'm back because DSP is talking about WWE and I like wrestling to an extent. DSP is talking about how good Bray Wyatt is and how good The Fiend is when he's truly not. The Fiend got fucking lit on fire and came back from the dead only to lose to an RKO from Randy Orton. What the fuck.
