If we make a distinction between "negative class" (things you're not supposed to do) and "positive class" (things you should do). SWPL's are extremely good at negative class and bad at positive class. If you look at the places they live, for instance, they are extremely clean and devoid of clutter (sometimes to the point of looking like movie sets), but they are also extremely barren and empty-looking. Northern Virginia is McMansion country. And while my family lived in a more modest “colonial,” I remember riding around in the backseat of the minivan, looking at some stylistically jumbled monstrosities. And I would get excited by some little detail, like say, a circle of fake battlements atop a misplaced tower. But then my mom would say, “look at this ostentatious trash!”

Contra exempts herself on the grounds that she's an ostentatious trans, but that sort of stuff does get internalised. The house she's in seems to have a few statement pieces (like that weird square mirror thing, and the overwrought bed) but other than that it does seem... bland. No maximalism going on in there, gorj! That's saved for video sets that are designed to communicate specific aesthetics.

Assuming this is actually true, it could take a day to render, and then the massive file would need to be uploaded to YouTube and processed. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't "released" until Tuesday. Which is a long way from "new video this week".

Why would you ever describe the video as "viewable and semi-coherent". I was going to make an analogy to McDonald's "food", but even there you recieve something coherent for your money.
If you make something and the only apt descriptors you can come up with are the exact same ones you'd use for a school-project started at 23:00 and due 23:59, maybe the whole thing should be scrapped.

Seeing as there's no passion left for the channel the obvious choice going forward would be to hire some writers for the show and act out their scripts on the regular. But with his patreon numbers, and the behavior the patrons exhibit, it's not like he even has to put in that miniscule amount of effort.

This is probably a powerlevel/no1curr, but it's funny that CP keeps up this erudite, intellectual upper-class persona with refined taste in media and music, and yet has the most basic taste in classical music. (Think babby's first classical or those Spotify-generated classical music playlists that people put on in the background of a dinner party to seem cultured and intelligent.)

Classical music is mostly just pop music for pseuds.

I don't think Contra needs to.

I doubt even the most dedicated Christorians would have predicted this - that's why it's blowing up so much right now. You have to do a real deep drive into Chris to see things like him macing people or trying to hit that gamestop manager with his car, and that can be handwaved by saying Chris is mentally incapable of understanding how bad those actions were. This is something else, but wasn't known or maybe hadn't even happened when "Cringe" was uploaded.

The Chris-chan portion of the video just didn't age well, I guess. Some of her videos are pretty dated too and she hasn't removed them. I don't think she'd remove Cringe because the topic of the video is still pretty relevant, like, she could still present the main idea of the video in a strong, coherent way without that segment. Also I think it's one of her best video so I hope she doesn't remove it . (She most likely wont).
