An alternative theory, if you will: she’s made decent money from porn and now it’s drying up as a new generation of content-creator owned distribution kills the cash cow. She wants ‘a real date’- no doubt this would entail fancy restaurant, nice car, good looking guy- the whole star treatment. She’s not going to settle for some guy who can’t afford at least a grand for a date or is physically unattractive, because in her head this would be ‘dating down’.
The paradox is that a man that has all the things she’d look for can do so much better than a burned out has-been on the fringe of a dying industry. Especially one that needs to be shimmed with a ham with the bone pulled out, and has demonstrated poor decision making skills.
She has literally nothing to offer a man of the caliber she wants, and would probably not be up for sex on the first date either. And so she, like so many former porn starlets, will join the ranks of the forever alone, unwilling to settle, yet unable to punch at the weight she would have had if she hadn’t spread it on camera for cash.
