Not weird at all. Pretty much every iteration of social media, mainstream media and current culture is designed to stop people banding together in any form of resistance. What do you think the IDpol stuff is, the constant culture wars, the huge attack in any form of national pride is? it’s all to put people into tiny tribes so they won’t band together. An educated, armed and cohesive population is the single biggest threat to tyranny there is.

No I’m OK. It’s been an eventful few months but I’m fineish. I agree with your points - I think this is mainly about control and digital ID, and it’s linked in with digital money as well. I think we are at an inflection point here and there is still a chance to stop it. I’m particularly pleased at the French revolting and if it comes to it where I am I will be all in for some peaceful civil disobedience, severing critical kelp stems and leaving urchins where those in power can step on them (worse than lego, is an urchin.)
As for it being ‘something worse they know’ well I don’t discount that either. I’ve said from the start this was an accidental lab leak. We know there was at least one ‘opinion changing event’ with Chinese leakers / dissidents so god knows what kind of info they have on it. You don’t pin all your hopes on one option in a bioweapons program if that bioweapon is adapted from a naturally derived virus. You have a whole freezer bank full of candidates. There was also a paper mentioned on here that mentioned lewey bodies being found in the brains of infected macaques. That’s not a good thing, if it’s true and if that doesn’t happen with similar infections (i don’t do brains, if we have any brain people feel free to step in here…)
Im hoping people will stand up and say no. I’m not entirely sure they will though. I have and im already getting flak.

In any case, I'm glad you are surviving. I wish you many clams in your future. I too have been watching the revolting French with joy. I had to look up lewey bodies. Doesn't sound fun. I'm curious if that could be caused by this spike protein, i.e. the current vaccines could also cause it, or if it's the result of some other aspect of the virus (if at all).

There's this Novamax vaccine coming up. That sounds a bit safer to take from my lay understanding. If at some point I'm forced to take a vaccine, I hope something safer than the current lot has emerged by that point.

The US government is legally constrained from mandating vaccines, but the US government is also highly restrained from suppressing or controlling free speech and recently learned it can dodge those annoying constitutional rules if it merely enjoins private actors to do the dirty work for it. I suspect they're taking their new toy out for a spin with the vaccines.

They have been trying to do this with guns. They are trying to get payment processers to reject businesses that sell AR pattern rifles to the general public.

Am I crazy to say that this shit will keep going on and on until we're at the 6th booster and everyone kinda realizes that covid has been long over? The protection against serious illness only lasts a few months and theres no solid evidence it ever stopped people from catching it. The booster will maintain the fiction it solves covid for awhile longer. And make everyone tens of billions.

Well looks like my shitty ass public sector union is finally doing something that isn't just sucking off the Democrats. Sent out an email saying they're contesting the mandate because the stipulation was not agreed to in the current contract. We'll see how it goes.

For once they're not falling in line with the political agenda.

I guess some members of the public sector union discovered then they're disposable then the Dems can throw them under the bus but I'm a bit too optimistic on that one.

Science™ says that the antibodies created by the vax have a half life and you'll end up losing them after 6 months give or take.
The vaccine is 95% effective (at suppressing symptoms) but you don't get the same protection as being exposed to the real deal. There was a study done on people who were exposed to SARS in the early 2000s who still had t-cell immune response a decade later, even though they had zero antibodies.
In theory with all the people who are naturally immune, have already been infected, and were exposed post-vaccination there shouldn't be a need for a booster shot except maybe for the elderly and people with three co-morbidities. And as always, nobody's gonna sit down and actually explain the reasoning, they're just going to berate people into getting them.
