I don't think he's realized what he did was wrong. He probably thinks this is just some crazy misunderstanding and the Jerkops will let him go as soon as he explains what he did was in the name of true love. Jesus, reality is going to hit him hard these next few months.

Honestly, I understand why Chris probably hasn't let his situation set in for him. It's still really hard to believe this actually happened and Chris will be in prison for the foreseeable future. It feels like this is still some elaborate meme and Chris will be back to his usual. It is incredibly hard to accept the fact that the life that we've seen Chris lead is completely over and something new and unimaginably horrific will emerge from the broken shards and dust of what used to be his relatively benign life of E-begging and playing legos in his house. It's going to get worse and far funnier than any of us will be able to predict.

Oh so he DID get a new mug shot. Good Lord...his last mug shot photo wasn't all that many years ago. He's near 40 now but he looks near sixty in this one. He's declining FAST--I mean he's been declining fast already for a long while now--but the metaphorical slope is almost a damn cliff at this point.
