Well, Chris's two previous crimes have been pretty minor compared to rape and your forgetting that the reason why Chris got off so easy the first time was because he had a good lawyer and because Snyder went easy on him and Barb. Also nobody in the legal system cares about whether or not Barb was a horrible person.

People with longer rapsheets have gotten away with similar crimes. Happens a lot, honestly. On the off-chance this gets in front of a jury, every variable has the potential to take effect when just about anyone can get a jury duty letter in the mail. I'm just saying that all of those variables taken into consideration, it's not looking great for the odds. This is one of many circumstances where I very much hope to be wrong.
