You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

Edge lords that are too cool to laugh at a meme, as soon as they deem it “overused.” Particularly when it’s not overused, & they think they are above others with their cutting, edge, lordy-ness. Please do, go get yourself a life, if that’s you.

Also, the rapid influx of mostly redditn00bs saying “kino” at anything they deem cool. This rapid influx started 2 days ago.
Often seen in CWC threads & Gunt threads.

Those were but trifles to this following thing:
In general, people who have no boundaries & live by letting their ego drive. Absolutely do your best to get a life, outside your self interest.

Stray cats. Not the cats themselves but what causes them to be stray. Fix your damn cats. There's a mother and three kittens around here. The kittens aren't really afraid of people so someone must be feeding them. Since they are young and not too feral they have a good chance of adjusting to domestication.

There are a lot of calicos around here. Far too pretty to be stray yet they are. The mother cat is mostly black with little patches of brindle. She's very unique looking. She can't be more than a little over a year. I remember her last summer when she was still half grown.

I wish animal control would hire more people to do the catch, fix and release program. I've seen a fair number of pregnant cats around here. I have family who refuses to neuter their cat and thinks it's ok for him to make more kittens. It's not cute. It's sad.

I hate musicals. It's a sure fire turn off for me. Just speak the dialog. You don't need a sog interjected into the scene for no reason. I didn't even like it as a kid when I'd watch Disney movies. When Snow White, Cinderella and the like came out it was a different time and I think it fit. But now why bother? Just stick it in the background.

When you go to a fast food place to get a burger and fries, only for them to say that they don't serve lunch until 11am. I remember it used to be they stop serving breakfast at certain times, not it's reversed.

Most places here stop serving breakfast at 10am. So you have the opposite problem.

People who likes to argue with other people about mister/miss h's gender.
If h is a MTF/gay/bisexual, then h still has male features like Adam's apple and typical male voice. If h is a FTM/lesbian/bisexual, then h still has female features like a typica female voice.

There's a number of reasons for this practice, gonna put it in a spoiler because not everyone wants to read someone sperging about fast food prep methodology.

the first and most obvious is that they have to build momentum into having a backlog of lunch/dinner products. Chances are the items in question are not prepared wholly and they do not wish to clog up the drive-thru or force you to sit out in the parking lot waiting for them to eventually get a burger & fries out. The latter option also requires an employee to drop what they're doing to walk it out as well.

The second is that they do not always run breakfast & lunch in all places because the demand starts to dip for them, so keeping those products prepped and ready not only requires additional space in the kitchen but its more or less tossing away loads of food and other product for it.

If they're lagging on breakfast or lunch switch-over its usually because someone overestimated how much they'd sell that day and they're hoping to sell off what remains before they have to swap over. It's dumb and annoying but that's the caliber of guessing you're gonna get from a fast food joint.

Some of my personal favorites have an all day menu for their items so if I want a breakfast sandwich for lunch or a burger early on I'll damn well have it. Diner style stuff is usually better too.

I kind of, sort of agree with this, but you should never apologize just because whatever you said was unpopular, you should only apologize if you actually were wrong. Apologizing is not weakness, but apologizing solely because you're forced to is definitely weakness. If you were right, stick to your guns and never, ever apologize for being right.

People who refuse to neuter their male animals and then allow them to roam piss me off the most by far. Fixing a male is way easier, cheaper and less risky than fixing a female, but since males aren't the ones to give birth these sociopaths just don't give a shit how much misery and suffering their pet will help create and can't be bothered to take that one step to prevent contributing to it.
It's like men who put all the responsibility for birth control on women--no, if you don't ever want children then either get the snip or keep your dick in your pants because anything else means you're taking that risk. Choosing to have sex and then crying when an "unexpected, unwanted" pregnancy occurs is equally obnoxious regardless of if the whiner is male or female

It's about status. I can't remember the last time I saw a dog who didn't have his nuts hanging out. Makes them look tough.

Also, there is a growing movement against male circumcision. I'm sure it plays into that. People feel emasculated and powerless already, so they lean into male symbols.

When you say "okay as long as a certain post is pinned you can request art" and I request, I definitely don't expect you to block me out of nowhere.
I literally had no idea this person blocked me until I went to check my DMs with them.
I sent them an anon ask about it and I unironically think they'll pull the "you're a TERF/bigot" stuff on me.

Then again, it's not like Tumblr has gotten better since the porn ban, so I'm honestly not expecting much at this point.

Also yeah, I know the general rule of "don't use those sites" but honestly if the art is okay I'm willing to give it a shot.

Watching a video game, movie, or whatever the fuck and people just start fucking spewing their 'headcanons' about characters. Ranging from 'OMG THEY'RE SUCH ENBIES' because they're a man with longer hair, or guessing that having said anything (or nothing at all..) means they're secretly lusting after each other.

Keep your dogshit takes to yourself I don't want to hear it. Go be horny somewhere the fuck else.
