...This is probably legit, sadly enough. It runs on submissions, especially of personal experiences, and it's pretty obvious about it (see, for instance, the posts that reference overly specific "feels" that aren't really funny).

I assume they're confusing having obsessive compulsive tendencies (which, acvording to the handful of psychs I've been too (and personal experience) can come along autism) with having a full blown disorder. So its not all mutually exclusive.

Jokes on them since mankind uses notable amounts of non-verbal communication. I forget the amount, but I think 2/3s or something of what we say comes from our bodies; our smiles, limb displacement, positioning. All that. So really they just need to go out more and talk to actual human beings rather than socially maladjusted trust fund kids who sit on their ass and cry about their life all day.

Have you heard the word of the Lord? It is possible to be a literal cartoon character. Praise be.

Fictionkin are people who think they are a fictional character. It is one of my downright favorite phenomenons on the whole internet. There are a million different ways they explain it, like multiverse theory, reincarnation, astral planes, anything their little hearts can come up with. I almost envy that kind of blind passion.

You would not believe the number of kids who think they're FNAF animatronics or Steven Universe gems. Sometimes multiples at once. They call themselves "systems" in a giant pretend game of Dissociative Identity Disorder. And the real gold is when you find someone who demands not to come in contact with someone else who identifies as the same character. That's when you know they're a meltdown waiting to be lit.
