If there’s a repeat of the height of the lockdowns under Biden’s watch, which those lockdowns and passports would bring about, it’ll be probably the biggest test on the grip of the government and journalists they’ve ever seen. And resentment will grow even higher that could make their boogeyman 1/6 look like a baseball game being rained out.

Depends on the city and state. I don't expect anything from New York or California locking down.

I doubt California will lock down before the recall is finished. If Newsom stays though, it's going to be fucking awful. I have a feeling that he will be itching to punish his constituents for their insolence.

There may be as little as 2 weeks left of the "old normal" in more conservative and rural places, but hopefully we don't go into a repeat of early 2020 everywhere.

I don't think so, you B cells are based on the first exposure. If natural exposure won't cause ADE, getting a vaccine after shouldn't cause a major problem.

I know enough vaxxed people that I don't want too high of a death rate, but if the death rate is like 100-200x that of muh Delta strain and that death rate is dropping zoomers as much as it is grandmas, I will laugh my ass off and I will be sure that each and every one of them who survives knows the reason they got so sick was because they took a rushjob of a vaccine that barely worked to begin with.

That tweet posted a few pages back that the White House was discussing lockdowns starting in mid August because of the "delta variant" of the coof. IIRC, at least blue states are on board with it. If they lock down, there could be red states going back to "temporary" closures and "face mask" BS. I hope that doesn't happen though.
