The country with the largest population of Catholics in the world is Brazil. Transgender people in Brazil are allowed to change their legal name and sex without getting surgery or professional evaluation, and free Am-Holes are provided by Brazil's national health agency. Countries where a majority of the population are practicing Catholics are also not troon-free zones.

Iran is a Shia country, a sect of Islam with so many core theological differences from orthodox Islam it might as well be another religion. Most if not all Sunni scholars view and treat is as such. The comparison is similar to saying Mormonism is Christianity. Because of this, Shias have many bizarre beliefs and practices including those you mentioned and they're definitely not representative of Islam or Muslim countries.

In regards to Brazil the real question is how devout are people there? I don't know much about the place but its hard to see carnival or their myriad of other celebrations as very Christian let alone their beliefs about magic and the occult. Just because a good portion of the population say they believe in something doesn't mean they practice it. In Catholic countries where they are practicing the troon rate is much lower. The same applies to Muslim countries. The UAE is more open and liberalized than Mauritania for example so degeneracy is more common.
