That's true, but there will certainly be a criminal restraining order put into place when he is arranged. This will prevent him from having contact with Barb and from returning to 14BC if he somehow gets out on bail. If he gets out on bail (big IF) he may be allowed to go back once with a police escort to get some items, but his days at 14BC may have already come to an end.

If Barb was competent, she would have never been sent to the hospital, Chris wouldn’t have been arrested or at the very least he’d have some kind of lawyer.
If Barb had any way consented to this sick sex or if it never happened, she could have stopped it with a simple denial. She’s living the rest of her days in a state care home.
She wasn’t faking the dementia for shekels, she is demented and got raped by her autistic son and is going to die in a state home unaware of her surroundings (unless Cole decides to pay for private care).

Would there be any record somewhere public that she was in a nursing/rehab facility? I’d be surprised if she was allowed to return to her home with no caretaker…

I don't think it would be available online but if Barb isn't at 14BC right now, you could probably surmise that's what happened.

I think Barb has dementia but I didn't think it was so bad that they would institutionalize her. That's a very hard bar to reach - you have to be truly unable to care for yourself. If that's the case, CWC is truly fucked because that's very clear proof that the sex was without consent.

It is a hard bar to reach but having dealt with similar cases I can’t see the state dropping her off and leaving her to her own devices if she is supposed to have a caretaker which Chris is claiming was his role. More than likely she’s in a temp home/rehab. Also, if there is a pending investigation would she even be able to return to the “crime scene”?
