1: Not all prisons are the same. Low security, medium secuity, or high security. Fights are common in medium security prisons, but dudes who get out in a few years typically dont want to risk another 30 for murdering a dude in prison. Plus as I recall typically those convicted of sex crimes are held in different area .

2: High likelihood chris would ultimately be in a special needs prison. not gen pop

3: In gen pop a primary problem would be that he is a tranny and wont stick up for himself. From what I have heard simply being called anything feminine, or called a fag in prison is grounds for immediate fight. If you dont fight you are considered a pussy and will be treated like one and abused.

People need to realize that the average prison stay isn't like Oz or Orange is the New Black. People aren't getting killed constantly, etc. Outside of prison gang violence (which can get bad in higher security prisons, where people might be there for life and therefore don't care), it's not common to be assaulted on a daily basis or constantly raped. When sex does happen in prison, it's usually consensual.
