I think he wrestles with the idea in his tard brain. Complex concepts are hard for him but he knows it's wrong on some level, he just has to make it ok in his mind (and consequently everyone else will understand) that barb really wanted it. I don't think barb did anything to show anyone she wanted to get dicked down, I think anything barb did outside of simply breathing and staying alive was Chris letting himself believe she consented in order to let him get what he wants.
