My local library is already requiring masks whether or not you've been vaccinated. The only in-person event is a chess club that won't start meeting until next year and will probably be cancelled anyway.

So I was talking with some others about the whole COVID-19 situation, and they wanted to see what scientific evidence you guys have to back up the arguments we have made here. Mainly, they point to the fact that the cases went down once people started wearing masks, alongside them going down once more got the vaccine, as proof that they were effective, and that while the latter may come with side-effects, its better to be safe than dead.

There is no evidence at all to support that claim. France still has a serious lockdown and mask mandate..yet people still caught covid.

Furthermore, there is overwhelming evidence that covid is not an instant death sentence. In fact, you're far more likely to live after you got it than die. ..and a majority of the healthy population has a less than 3% of getting it at all.

There is zero reasons for the masks, lockdowns, social distancing or the "vaccine ".

I've had to get away from this thread for days at a time because it's just too depressing, but it's also one of my most consistent sources of support and proof that I'm not crazy. Pretty pathetic that I'm saying that about people whose primary goal is to laugh at people making fools of themselves, but not something I can deny, either.

Looks like the tyrants found an "ideology" to keep people divided (woke), and a way to keep people conquered (coof). A "winning formula".

So now that the original coof is going away, they cook up a scare over a "new variant". And if this "new variant" fades out, there'll likely be more. And with each one there can always be "new cases". And if the coof somehow goes away, there could be some other bullshit disease. This "New Normal" really could be the "New Normal" until the end of civilization as we know it, at least in more leftist places.
