CWC moved to Central Virginia Regional Jail

This is America, we've put literal retards (as in people with IQs below 70) to death plenty of times, Chris is absolutely fit to go to prison. Like half the people in prisons in America have mental issues-- schizo, PTSD, depression, bipolar, borderline...
In some states the prison system is actually the largest mental health provider. There are people not mentally fit for society that basically get treatment in prison, serve out their sentence and get dumped onto the streets to be mentally ill and homeless again, where they then get caught with drugs or assaulting strangers or whatever and put back in prison. Chris can use a computer, drive, write a story, he's plenty functional by legal standards.

Due to the nature of his crimes he'd almost certainly end up in a special protective wing alongside other chomos (pedos), sex offenders, and troons. If he rages out a lot they'll give him some calming pills. But I see nothing about him that would make him qualify for an insanity plea or anything
So could terry davis though by that metric. He made an entire OS while jibbering schizo shit

The fact that you're a schizo and got thrown in a looney bin for a day doesn't mean you know anything about prison. The fact that you think Chris would be put in a 'padded room' for his stay means you're so ignorant that you shouldn't be snide towards anyone here.
There is a psych ward in jail. It's a co-ed pod, solitary confinement, 23 hour lockdown, 1:1 with a CO when you are let out for your shower and phone call. The bed is bolted to the floor, there's no sheets on the bed, and the toilet has no water in it. You are not allowed to use utensils. You are, however, allowed to have books and commissary. Generally people are put in there when they are considered a suicide risk, but they also put you there if you need to take meds that they don't give out in gen pop like xanax.

If I had to guess Chris isn't in the psych ward. He's probably in administrative segregation.

I'm genuinely curious on how Chris would be treated on Admin segregation. Might be safer than a woman's prison, where Chris is likely to get assaulted if some of the inmates find out Chris is in there for Rape.

I agree that cwc would likely be put in segregation (for a number of reasons) rather than a looney unit but is your information based on Virginia Central Regional Jail specifically? Because not every jail has such a thing.

I took a look at CVRJ's last published mandatory reporting and it is contradictory. They checked the box for not having a mental health unit yet indicated they do have 'beds' in that unit (as you can see, other reporting jails without a MH unit did not claim to have beds in it!). And their 'total beds needed' just happens to match the exact number they have. The whole thing reeks of fuckery or incompetence (I would lean towards the latter based on the jail's website).

I guess adding "transgender" isn't going to help. but from the PREA audit report you can snag from the hideous website:
FLEX:
Is a female segregation unit configured in a single cell-housing unit? The PREA information was posted,
as was the Audit Notice. Cameras are placed in each corridor. Rolling phones are used in this unit and
magnets the length of the window is used on the cell doors. An announcement was made notifying the
female inmates that a male was entering the housing unit. The auditor also reviewed the logbook for
documentation of unannounced rounds being made by supervisory staff. This segregation unit can house
10 female inmates and is supervised by one roaming officer. The showers are in the corridor and are
enclosed by a six-foot shower curtain.
presumably the ? is a typo, and they had no transgender inmates at the time (July 2019). otherwise, that sounds like where they'd store a True and Honest Woman who raped her mom with her female penis.

edit: scroll scroll scroll, pg. 57:
CVRJ Agency Screening Policy R-1.03, page 2, section A, paragraph 8, states in part that;
transgender and intersex inmates will be assigned to male or female blocks on a case-by-case
basis and based on the health and safety of the inmate and the security needs of the jail.
The PREA Compliance Manager was interviewed and asked how the agency determines
housing and programs for transgender or intersex inmates. The Compliance Manager stated
that he would meet with the inmate and discuss where the inmate would feel safe. Then a
group consisting of the PREA Coordinator, Compliance Manager, Medical, and Mental health
professionals would meet to discuss where the best place to house the inmate would be. The
compliance manager also stated that the inmate would have full access to all programs.
The evidence collected for this provision shows that the agency does consider housing
assignments involving transgender and intersex individual on a case-by-case basis.
Therefore, through written policy and interviews conducted, the agency has demonstrated that
it meets this provision.

Oh, no, my experience wasn't specific to that particular jail. It makes sense that a smaller jail or maybe a private jail might not have a psych ward, perhaps they would keep them in the hospital ward? That might be what the listed beds are.

Could some retard somewhere bail/bond him out if he does get a bail? I just have this feeling some stupid asshole is going to do it, now that he's got so many eyes on him.

Then again, even if someone posted his bail, Chris would be dumb enough to say he doesn't recognize the person bailing him out (effectively denying his own bail)

Edit; Hey moderator, you think this comment is dumb? Just you wait. 1v1 me bro in Halo.

It all depends on the jail/prison, there's a lot of variety. Some places still have black and white uniforms while others will have a single color. In some places the high risk people wear orange or red and everyone else wears blue.

In Cleveland county Oklahoma inmates wear hot pink and yellow stripes.

Should note that prisons and jails that make male prisoners wear feminine colors (IE hot pink), tend to be run by people who if not outright sadists, tend to be of the kind that fucking treat inmates VERY VERY badly. In terms of lowest of the low quality food and amenities, such as Joe Arpaio's infamous tent city jail, to using such feminine colored prison garb to humiliate inmates via quasi-feminization.

I've probably missed this somewhere but have we figure out when the arraignment is?

I think we’re all getting caught up, I wouldn’t get our hopes up. He’s just going to play the sped card and get a slap on the wrist. Definitely won’t see Barb again. Don’t be too suprised.

100% this. Slight power leveling here but I did some short time in Georgia and my cell mate was literally insane. Not in a violent way but he would silently pace durring the day and talk to himself and laugh like a manic all night. The only meaningful conversation I ever had with him was about how much he loved lobster. I heard his charges were sexually assulting someone at a piggly wiggly but I dont know. Giant nigger.

Just to be sure. Dailymail is fake and gay and Chris is NOT in a women's jail, right?
It's just the DM scaremongering to generate clicks, they saw that he was listed as 'F' and leapt to the conclusion that he's going to the womens' jail. It's fake and gay because no one knows where he's going yet, it's too early. He's very unlikley to end up in with women though- the prisons do it case by case and trannies almost always end up segregated in the mens' jail with the other special cases (nonces, rapists, tards, etc.) The Daily mail just wants to freak people out and cause a wave of anti-tranny ruckus off the back of the Laurel Hubbard mess.

I'm resigned to never seeing Barb again, I just hope she's doing all right.

Even so, that's still the harshest punishment Chris has ever suffered. He's literally gone almost 40 years with his mother always around, and regardless of just how utterly screwed up that relationship is now thanks to his actions, he may not be able to actually comprehend just why he isn't allowed to see his mother if she isn't dead.

On top of, y'know, being locked out of her bank accounts which will definitely cripple his splurging habits.

I wonder if it's truly dawned on Chris how things will never be the same.

Can Chris comprehend such a thing?
The only thing I can come up with is that his father passed away and that's the biggest thing he's ever gone through.
