He's been running with this story for years that mike watson reached out to him and apologized. Simple pig logic dictates that the chances of this being true end up entirely in the court of watson himself feeling like he was in the wrong because while disgruntled phil demands apology is a meme at this point, the chances of him actually starting shit with watson online about it behind the scenes are pretty slim.

We know the only opportunity that would appeal to phil to go after someone online would be after the individual has been dragged through the mud so he could stick the boot in publically. Watson hasn't been outed as a sex pest so this chance remains elusive. I've certainly never heard any alternative take from waston on phil being anything but "a total piece of shit". All the top players at that event only ever scoffed at the fact that phil put in his signature on the srk forums that after getting ahead in the shitty ps one port of the game that he was top ranked US super turbo player for the year. If you have to act the cunt like this in a scenario that couldn't be taken seriously as competition you know the individual is the delusional type who'll use any excuse to massage their own ego.

A man who has begged for a decade, has people volunteering to send him unnecessary gaming items, BUT NOT GIVE HIM ACTUAL MONEY?

"To be fair", DSP has already proven to be one of those people that will ask you money for X, but if you give him cash he will find an excuse to not actually buy X.

It's like that relative that constantly complains that they can't afford their electricity bill, but if you offer (let's say they have kids) to go directly to the energy company to pay the bill, they will start screaming at you.

DSP used to claim that he couldn't play a game unless he got hundreds of dollars in tips. When people offered to give him the game or Nintendo credits directly, DSP bitched about how he wouldn't be able to pay his electricity bill and they will cut him off the second the bill is late, even though that's literally illegal in many states.

TL;DR - If you want DSP to have gaming items, you have to give them to him directly or the money will go into the Champions black hole never to be seen again.

I agree with every word, especially this. It was only a week ago he was complaining that he only had $100 for breakfast. A normal adult can budget and eat for a week with $100.

It doesn't help that on top of not being arsed to care about being wasteful with money, Phil can't be bothered to make himself aware of how the rest of the world lives, either. Not only is that too much work, but it's a thought that would never occur to him because of how incredibly self-absorbed he is. Whatever Phil does, based on what Phil wants, is the standard that Phil follows. And due to insecurity, anybody eating off of $100 for a week is making him look bad, and therefore Phil would keep being Phil out of spite.

If it's not one bad trait getting in the way, it's one of the other ones. Or the entire rest of them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Phil's excuse for not being able to get a new PC is complete and utter bullshit. I go on Amazon and I see the highest-end CPUs in stock. And as far as I know, you don't need a GPU to stream with. Everyone knows he'll be using that PC only to stream with.
Despite this, I'm 99% sure Phil wants his next PC to be a gaming PC. This is bat-shit insane since he's not a PC gamer. But even then, he could just a PC without a GPU and buy one later down the line if he wanted to.
I can't fathom how dumb he is, I just can't. He could build a kickass streaming PC right now for like 1000 bucks, right? But he just blatantly refuses to do so. It's shocking. His whole life is about finding excuses not to do things.

In addition to being an idiot, Phil has a certain need to feel "elite", better than you, and thinks that an over-priced flashy piece of shit (whether it be a so-called gaming rig or a cheap chair or whatever) accomplishes that goal. No matter how many times he has been humiliated in public for this attitude, it has not gone away. He's so lazy he won't look for other ways to feel superior, that might actually work.

This is actually part of the problem. In looking at Phil's schedule now, he seems quite reluctant to take advantage of even the Xbox Series X library. Can only speculate as to exactly why, but he is dodging a lot of games. Imagine how he feels about the prospect of opening himself up for demands from the retards after he gets himself access to the vastness of PC games right now. It undoubtedly looks like a god damn minefield to him, utterly terrifying.

I'm starting to think that Phil is at the end of his rope when it comes to tolerating the fact that hot new releases keep him fed, not him. Especially since what the majority of his audience actually enjoys, and he knows this, is seeing him get wrecked trying to comprehend a new game that's too much for his gin brain. He may accept the money, but he does not like how he is getting it. Not one bit. There's a reason he bitched so much about Returnal before even touching it. There's a reason he put off Divinity 2 for so long, and had no intention of finishing it. Phil is running out of options, because he's done putting up with the options that are in front of him.

Dave had a top of the line PC back when he attempted to stream Rage and still managed to tank his framerate down into the single digits. He's incapable of troubleshooting anything.

It's pretty funny he advertises that he has ultimate when Gamepass Ultimate's only feature is also being able to play gamepass games on PC which DSP does not do. Another example of his spending the maximum thinking he's getting the best when in truth he's getting no benefit.

This Flight Simulator debacle is the best example ever. That was touted as the big reason he needed the new xbox since he could already play everything available on Gamepass but now after a few streams of it he hasn't even bothered to look up the basic controls or menu options. He's downloading the add-ons in-stream instead of doing even minimal show prep. He truly believes it is a privilege to give him your money and you should be thankful for the opportunity to be noticed by him.

Phil is one of those guys who, if you didn’t know any better, you would say he is a shill or being paid by Microsoft or Sony because of how much of a shameless consoomer he is. Not only does he only buy new consoles and play new triple A franchise games (with no rhyme or reason for which games to play, just plays what is new and trendy) instead of building a PC and playing indie games, but he continues to advertise these basic products like game pass and make them his identity. When Phil put those ps5 boxes behind him in the camera picture-in-picture, any sane person who doesn’t know Phil would think he is a Sony shill (which he is) and disregard anything he says about video games (loses the 100% honesty no bullshit claim).
