Yeah I totally agree. There is no way for Chris to ever lead a 'normal' life. He has proven to be a danger to himself and especially others. I struggle to see any possibility for him to live independently after he serves his sentence, he is too far gone.

He needs to be in an mental institution and monitored for the rest of his life but I doubt he will survive prison if that is indeed where he ends up.

As I recall from the Micheal Snyder case, Chris' lawyer used the 'tism defense. But from someone who was there, Chris was having a really hard time holding his tongue and still managed to insult Snyder while speaking to the judge. Since Chris is even worse now, I doubt his lawyer will actually be able to keep him quiet.

I see "Chris will get away because insanity" popping up a lot, but if I recall that shit is rare and exceedingly hard to pull off and I'm not at all convinced it'll work for Chris. He bought a book on how to fuck the elderly/disabled, made careful (albeit shitty, I admit) attempts to conceal it (he knew it was wrong), and kept it hidden for an indefinite period of time, and committed it repeatedly.

I never thought Chris would be banned from his own home. I mean, sure, he was going to get kicked out by the bank, but man, this is too soon, and very apt.

It's a standard practice in domestic cases to forbid the offender from returning to the home. It's legally Barb's house and the criminal justice system will not permit him to live in the victim's home. Plus, there will be a no-contact order between him and the victim, and Barb will return to 14BC if she hasn't already (unless she really is so disabled that she's institutionalized, as some people have speculated, but I seriously doubt it. That's a really high standard.)

I agree. He could hurt himself, not just others. If his mom does and hes alone, I could see him burning his house down and dying tragically. This would be saving his life. And I'm not so sure that barb may have not cajoled him into this.
This could be dealt with so that everyone is kept safe and cared better.
