Chris court appearance

The judge listed two requirements for Chris getting bail:
- guarantee will show up for trial
- guarantee that the accused is not a danger to anyone

Chris getting bail on September 16th probably mostly depends on Barb’s situation. If she is in a care home or with relatives and Chris won’t have access to her, there might be a chance he’ll get out.

Chris will also need a place to go, and some way to ensure he’ll return for trial. He has no means to run away, and if 14 BC is available, his lawyer might be able to convince them Chris needs isn’t a risk to run because all his toys are there.

The Jeweyest possible Jew lawyer in all Virinriareal. Heil, Berg, Man. Why is it so hard to look up lawyers on the Vaginia bar website? Oy Vey.
he is a good lawyer, but is he a good tard wrangler? for this case he is gonna need to be a expert in both.

Bob was a redneck fucktard. He encouraged Chris to use his autism as an excuse for his shitty behavior, to believe in conspiracy theories rather than take responsibility for his actions, to be a lazy retard leeching off welfare rather than trying to get a job and kept bailing him out every time he fucked up rather than letting him face the consequences of his stupidity. He was also loathed by his other children, and children don't sever ties with their father for no reason.

He was less nasty than Barb, sure, in the same way cancer is less nasty than AIDS.
I don't know if I'd go that far, but I definitely agree with the sentiment. As sympathetic as he might seem in comparison to Barb and Chris, Cole has said some pretty unflattering things about him. And while you might argue that stepkids hating their stepdad is relatively normal, it's worth pointing out that he was 17 when they got married.

By the time Chris was old enough to be an autistic menace, Cole was already an adult and out of education entirely. His perception of Bob overall is more of an adult's look at a peer than a child or moody teen's look at their new dad.

Chris was supposed to talk about his bond plan but asked about his shit instead.
What would Crhis's bond plan have been anyway? Maybe he was going to tell the judge if he can just get his markers and papers, he can draw the judge a True and Honest CWC original that's worth thousands of dollars. That should cover the bail nicely.

I feel so sorry for this dude. Like this poor man has the worsed client alive.
Not to downplay Chris’s crime, but he “only“ (allegedly, at the moment) raped a woman who probably couldn‘t fight back because he had an opportuniy.

Yes, he’s a mega sperg, and his antics and tardery are probably going to fuck him in the end, but there are people who’ve been in court for murdering entire families in cold blood or cannibalism or raping dozens of children. He’s an annoying client, but nowhere near the worst alive.

I've been wrong on things before, but even if Chris knew damn well what he was doing to Barb, I struggle to find a scenario where the court/law finds him mentally fit to stand trial. His delusions are just too outlandish for a normal person to consider him anything other than a mental defective.

Again, not saying incest is okay by any stretch of the imagination. But any judge or jury is gonna take one look and say, "this manchild is utterly retarded".

And at the end of the day, between being institutionalized or going to prison, what difference does it make? Either outcome removes him from society.

I'm not one to be optimistic about any aspect of humanity, but I don't see this happening.
Only a fraction of cases actually go to trial, plea deals are the crux and currency of the legal system, same as discretion is the unspoken underpin of policing.

Especially with a lawyer instructing the all-too-impressionable Chris what to do, I’m confident Chris will just listen to what he’s told and take a plea. It might mean probation, but that’s better than jail.
But that could all change based on psychological evaluation, and I’m also not sure how Chris’ tugboat neetbux work if he’s convicted of a crime. But that’s all really secondary, the important thing is that unless Chris’ autism infects his lawyer then none of them will be seeing the inside of a trial room.

So why does everyone think his stuff will be auctioned off? If barb is in a memory care facility and everyone else is out of state, there's nobody to actually go in and take the stuff.
Because for the Govt to pay for someone to be placed in a facility like that, they demand that any assets that person has be liquidated to pay for the care and once those funds are gone, THEN Medicare/Medicaid/Social Security/etc. will pick up the tab.

according to Greene County Tax Records, the house is still in Bob and Barb’s name. Bob’s dead, obviously, and the only other person on the deed is Barb so 14BC is owned 100% by her. Now, it’s mortgaged to the hilt BUT it’s still an asset of hers, and if she’s going into a long term facility, it’ll need to be liquidated and if she’s in no condition to do it, and no relative steps forward to do it, the State will appoint someone to do it for her.

it’s not like it’ll happen in the next week or even month, but if Barb is going into long-term care then 14BC will be sold along with everything in it.

Who knows for sure I was just wondering if he planned to sell some relics in order to post bond but if that were the case he could just send his lawyer to get that stuff for safe keeping.

The diffrence is what one will help him. As fun as it is to watch chris and make fun of him, he needs to be institutionalized more then prison IMO. Atleast with him being put in a group home or institutionalized he could possibly get more help then him getting raped by tyrone every night.
