Chris court appearance

Unless there's 100% proof he will be homeless, it's not for certain. Null mentioned his plans of buying Chris' house just so he wouldn't have to face the reality of homelessness and could work (lol) peacefully but this was in the case Barb died and also before all this rape event happened.
There's still a chance that he didn't completely give up on Chris yet and is just waiting for him to come out to further fix his living situation and, if not the classic house, help him live somewhere else by himself. Which he is going to fuck up eventually if it happens anyway but there's that.

Blinded white-knights and all considered, I don't think Chris will be forever homeless after jail, someone is going to protect him from that.

I mean, at this point Null wouldnt be helping someone he helped Troll in the past, now he will be helping a literal motherfucker. He has to understand none of this shit is his or the farm's fault and, at worst, we only slightly sped up what was going to happen sooner or later. He has to get rid of tard wrangler/savior complex

Heilberg as a name is honestly fucking too good lmao

(- and yes, the following question is kind of lazy and such but with the sheer volume of christory i feel like i may be forgiven for asking this rather than delving into it)-

so, i haven’t followed him in years, since way before he trooned, but he does seem substantially fucking weirder/ less stable now.

is that the case? what’s the deal?
(or is it just the usual trajectory that weirdos tend to look way more depressing when they are oldtarded than youngtarded

It's kinda too late for this. Chris admitted to porking his mom in the leaked calls and that's the only charge under question right now.
There are shit-tons of evidentiary objections to its admissibility. Where's the chain of custody? Who is going to verify it is actually legitimate? It's hearsay, an out of court statement used to prove the facts in it. It's chopped up and obviously not the complete recording, i.e. best evidence rule. There's even metadata in it indicating it was modified by some kind of voice changing software. Even though it's fairly obvious to us that even though that's in there, that's actually Chris, that's not really good enough for court.

Of course Chris probably admitted to everything when the cops interviewed him because he is a complete moron, and there is probably some kind of physical evidence, too, so they might not even need that recording.

The question is really whether Chris was or wasn't stupid enough to demand a lawyer instead of talking to the cops, and Heilberg actually showed up before he blabbed his stupid autistic mouth and admitted to everything. And we know how absolutely retarded Chris is.
It's nowhere near to being predictable to be honest, no one would've guessed that Chris would rape his own demented mother one day
It's one of those predictable in retrospect things, where you go, holy fuck, how didn't I see this coming? He has talked for years about dreaming about fucking his mom, stating that parent/child sex is totally okay, and combine that with his idea that drawing porn of Megan was somehow his way of not just raping her, and it has the inevitability and horror of Greek tragedy.

Maybe you want to rip your own eyes out after having seen it but you realize there's no way at all to unsee it now.

Even though Chris has no place to live?

His attorney will probably ask for Chris to be released on his own recognizance (e.g. no bond) but I doubt the court will order it mostly for this reason. Chris has nowhere to stay and no funds available. He would become transient and therefore hard to track down for court. Given the nature of his offense this is definitely no bueno.

I heard that the full thing was handed over to the cops and then they edited it and posted it to the internet. If those rumors are true does that change the situation?

I’ve learned a little bit about this - thanks chris-chan for sending hundreds of us to seek out crash courses in the law - and apparently there is an exception to the hearsay rule that lets prosecutors bring in statements that were made by the person they’re charging. Because chris is a “party opponent” of the state, anything he says is fair game and not considered “hearsay” even though it would otherwise meet that definition. as they always say, those statements “can and will be” used against them.

Of course I could be wrong about this. I think you’re right that the admissibility issues around the recording is very ripe ground for defense, if the defense lawyer sees this case as (somehow) not beyond salvaging. If law guys want to chime in to correct me, that’s always great.

Foreshadowed for years imo. Really just a logical conclusion of all we know about chris.
I thought he would just let his mom rot in his home until there's nothing left but skeletons.
And then, with all the merge shit, he tries to resurrect her by using magic and nothing happens, it's still there, rotting.

At least for the altered evidence part. I haven't seen any evidence of that, and we probably won't until the case is transferred to Circuit Court where the records will be public. Heilberg may try to seal it, put gag orders on it, or some other shit, though, so the proceedings still may be at least partly redacted if not fully redacted.

Never assume a lolcow can't make things worse for themselves. All it would take is Chris having a rush of shit to the brain to end up with additional charges. Contempt of Court is easily on the table if he keeps up his misbehavior.
Assaulting jail staff is also on the table. Or sexual harassment of the jail staff. Guarantee the first female guard chrischan see's will be the target of chrischan's lust, maybe even sexual assault could happen. Contempt of Court would be easily dismissed because of chrischan's mental faculties, and would only exist in addition to other charges that Chrischan could pick up in the court room, like assaulting a bailiff.

And I completely agree. It's just, he himself told Chris nobody would help him if he kept his creepy attitudes after the first convention, and, well, years later, he was the one who would always be there for Chris. Not even the rape itself was enough to cut contact, it was the lie about the stolen money that did it. So, while I can't blame Null for feeling some kind of responsability for Chris because of the Farms and all, the facts keep telling him to simply stay the hell away. It's not worth it. Being some sort of lolcow martyr ("don't do this to yourself!") isn't worth it either.

It's nobody's fault (yeah yeah, Bella, etc.) but, eventually, he had to know better and, sadly, life told him this in the worst way. His perpetual protectee is now a motherfucking rapist. Continuing to associate with him, keeping holding his hand and solving life for him won't bring anything positive for himself, only negative unwanted attention and, just like before, not really much gratitude from Chris.

There's millions of exceptions. The hearsay rule is more exception than rule at this point. The most important in this is "adverse admission," or "admission against interest," when a party has said something that is so utterly incriminating that nobody would say that shit unless it were actually true.

I feel like this is him not getting how serious his situation yet if his arrest video is anything to go by. He thinks this is, at most, like the macing of the gamestop employee or running over Snyder where he will get legally scolded, fined and sent on his merry way. He.is.NOT.aware.how severe it all is and how likely he will actually go to jail now. If he DOES get it, he might change his attitude. Tho I admit his boldness could also be due to his joke of a mental state
I don't even know how to say this without it sounding fucked up, but I will try. He was arrested for incest, right? Not rape to our knowledge, at least not yet. Personally, incest (in a vacuum -- so no rape or elder abuse or anything, just the incest charge he is facing) does not sound nearly as serious as running someone down with a car or macing someone. Please don't mistake this for me condoning incest, because thats not at all what I am doing. If you told me a guy would get stuck in prison for incest but didn't get stuck in prison for macing someone or running them over, idk if I would believe you. Hope this makes sense and doesn't make me sound like a degenerate

I just love that Chris Chan, the most edgy autistic guy I've ever seen in my life has a lawyer with Heil in his name. "Your honour, my name is Sieg Heilberg & I shall be represented my Client Chris Bundy"
