The story of amputating paws only to have the dog be put down seems unlikely to me.

It’s probably sadly true Max the doxxhound is no longer with us.

What I’m curious about is what the fuck would cause paw amputation to be necessary. Dogs loosing legs to illness or injury isn’t uncommon but they usually go on to live fulfilling lives without needing to be euthanized. He seemed young too. It feels like something more than simple neglect was going on unless her fungus spread to the poor animal.

And yeah I could see donating money for carte Blanche for two reasons 1) ego. These types use their children's accomplishments as their own.
