For me personally, the Blanchard typology just helps me with simple risk assessment, even though it's surely not perfect. Whatever I may think about HSTS, I know the risk of them trying something sexual or violent towards women is very low. When Blaire White walks into a bathroom, I don't really worry. AGPs however, present a risk to me as a lot of them are both attracted to women and seem to feel entitled to sex and to female adoration.

I've had a couple of other trans women be pushy with me to do sex stuff that I really wasn't cool with and just pests online but a lot of those are crossdressers who I generally tend to strongly dislike even if they might be eggs. They'll try to act like they know trans stuff Ive been going thru condescendingly and try to show me ghastly crossdressing pictures a lot and it honestly makes me want to vomit.

I breifly had one crossdresser friend who was "considering" identifying trans and was this big scary dude who was really transmisogynistic. He had a very controlling speech pattern(yeesh...) and would always pressure me into listening to him talk about his fetish and wanting me to "doll him up" and it made me really uncomfortable.. Gross part..wanted to talk to me about horny stuff and show me his neatly assorted dildos a lot.. I'll spare the rest. I just was trying to start a band with someone. He would talk to me like shit whenever I'd try to talk about music.. like all I'm good for is his tranny fetish.

Just like with hetero men that doesn't mean all of them are a threat to women or all of them are bad, but like with hetero men I do not always want them around me (unless I know them well) or around young girls.

I tend to be a lot more careful around men and yah certainly not all but I can understand the apprehension about men and would like people to be more cautious of them being around kids. Might be part of why I tend to struggle to get past dating with men. They suck a lot of the time.

That's cool, and I have no reason to disbelieve you, but you should also take the time to understand why many people are wary when the last 10 or 20 'lesbian' transwomen they have seen or interacted with have all been obvious AGPs, and that AGP interactions with women often involve sexual creepiness.

Yeah, I've had some trans women be creepy to me and a looooot of crossdressers who say they are trans and I think most of them are really gross and I kinda avoid them like the plague. They bother me a lot and I find a number of them want me to "trans" them and it's this fetish thing they get off on after already fetishizing me. That shit makes me uncomfortable and feels like such a violation of my space. It's pretty obvious most of the time when a person genuinely asks me to help them start transition and when it's a fetish thing but some people are harder to read.

The trans community would do a lot better kicking the gross mid-life-crisis AGPs out of their movement instead of constantly closing ranks around them and pretending autogynephilia doesn't exist and that 45-year-old linebackers with 4 kids are true and honest women and in need of society's special protection. Until then, you will never stop being associated with them.

get this presumption that I'm going to be their bestie and be gay for them the minute they start transitioning and if they have kids and a linbacking career then I have nothing in common with them. I find a lot of trans poly fems who I have nothing in common with will expect me to invite them to everything and want them sexually or as a partner like I would another fem or woman I'm interested in but I have a type and people just think I'm going to be a walking horn dog like them.. it just doesn't feel good when I'm just trying to make friends or work on a project. It really makes me hate the idea of sex or hookups in general. It's like that's all they think I'm good for and makes me start thinking that yah that person is probably just sweaty and gross a lot more often than not.

I feel like I can relate to how cis women don't want that expectation of inclusion in everything in a way.. Really irritating when people overstep boundaries and I do feel like a lot of people really go out of their way. I put it out there that I'm poly and I feel like some people think that the first time I meet them, I'm going to go fuck them in a porta pody because of it. I mean I have my main and we have our friends we do things with but we're really really selective. I suppose I try to keep different walls up for people I am not as connected to or interested in. I want friends that I can relate to more than anything. People fetishizing me is gross.

Some people don't handle that correctly and will make up any excuse and it bothers me. It is hard for me to accept someone as trans, who fetishisizes me. Maybe I'm a little over generous and it fucks me over.

I keep myself surrounded mostly by people I can identify with.

I don't expect anyone to be celibate and people should have sex with whoever they want, as long as it's consensual. I honestly couldn't care less about who trans people have consensual sex with (although I reserve my right to make jokes about polycules of all genders) - I am only concerned with people who cross sexual boundaries.

Same and you can make fun of the poly stuff, I never was so specific about gender though I have my types. Consent is always primary. I feel like people trying to sexualize me a lot of the time pushes that line.. like give me a break holy fuck.. these people always assume I'm horny and desperate. I don't think they realise I can get it literally whenever I want so I wish they would let me give some indication.

I've been working on my stuttering but the interview didn't feel awkward to me. Felt a lot like moderating a conversation. Maybe I could have come in quicker with the questions but I didn't want to interrupt them. I feel like they were really informative and they helped to paint a more specific profile of who she is and who they are. Just my opinion but I welcome you having your own.

I thought you did the interview great. The only thing you might consider is cutting together a 7-10 minute version that just has the bullet points. I appreciate your perspective too. I never really thought about it but I suppose it's not odd that the creeps who pester women or lesbians might go out of their way to pester (other) trans people too. Seems like they just feel entitled to someone else's body for sex or attention, period, and they don't always care who it comes from. I will always take the side of biological women in the trans debate because I am one, but that doesn't mean I approve of perverts treating you and others badly or sexualising you all the time. I can imagine that that is annoying and exhausting when you're trying to have normal social interactions.

This last decade is making a fantastic case for platonic relationships and monasticism tbh.
