Damn, IMDB and Streamerpedia confirm it. I thought they would've collaborated a little bit more than one single episode of Off Topic if he lived in the same god damn city as them.
I mean, seeing how far down RT and AH have fallen I wouldn't blame him if he wanted to distance himself from the company further. Yet, he did seem down for a collab with AH for the Olympics but they never replied. Maybe AH are the ones who don't want to collab with Ray? Eh, what do I know, I'm just a retard speculating shit.

Ray is much better off without them and should continue to stay far away from that dumpster fire of a company.

Ray has been pretty candid about fucking hating the "core" games that AH plays, and since he legitimately loves streaming just about every day, it's not hard to see him just preferring to stream instead of a guest appearance he won't get paid for.

They just announced he's going to collab with them on a new Olympics video, so it seems they actually got back to him on that one.

Yea and from what he said it might be his finally video in the let’s play style as he prefers to collaborate with other streamers for a live reaction and to see chat and interact with them.

It's super obvious it had a bad production, with one of Torrian's friends outright saying Torrian had to go do mocap as early as 4am some days and that they were operating on a skeleton crew with tight deadlines.
Torrian as workaholic that has to work with a shoestring budget and having to deal with squeaky bum time? Sounds like Monty during the Beacon arc (at least V1).
I'm quite surprised that RT hasn't tanked yet.
I guess that RWBY is what keeps them afloat...For now.
That's been how things have been for years now.

Holy shit it must be bad, a year or two ago this would have been buried.
I'm not sure what happened to the hugbox but RT reddit has gotten savage in the past couple months.
Found this gem at Dollar Tree

And the top comment in response to RT's atrocious attempt at tiktok:

Holy fuck, go off Good_bayou.

idk why RT people have to pretend like the company has never changed. You went from an indie darling that exploded in popularity to being bought out once, twice and now a third time by different networks. You've lost talent from people qutting, being kicked for degeneracy and the only people you have left are either ogs spinning their wheels til the company collapses or nu-talent who are quite frankly all fucking terrible because you hired fans instead of people who were actually talented at doing anything.

And since they're owned by old media who doesn't understand jack shit about new media, all the rough edges get sanded away, all the editing has to be standardized and shockingly, older fans don't like it anymore so we stop watching in droves but instead of asking themselves why this is happening, they just bury their heads in the sand and say the old fans are the problem.

Biggest fucking thing I've actually agreed to in a minute, the whole issue with people like Rooster Teeth and really small media companies that rise up at the end of the day and become sell outs is that they don't know how to honestly act like a company.

Yeah you can be an indie company and still keep to your roots, the problem is that Rooster Teeth doesn't want to do that. I don't think Rooster Teeth ever acted like a company except when it's time to remove shitty people from their ranks.

I think that is actually the issue. You can't be an indie company after a certain point. You eventually hire so many people that your company HAS to change its structure because, as a manager/CEO/founder, you can no longer have a personal connection with everyone and 100% know what is going on within your company.

RT never developed the management core that was supposed to handle all the day to day issues that were going to be handed off onces things got too big adequately. They simply hired fans they liked and erroneously promoted them to management because they liked them. When the company got too big, those very same managers acted like utter retards (Barbara, miles, Gray, etc.) and served to only make the company a worse place to work in to the point where it really hurt the end product.

The kicker is that because the founders liked them so much, they simply blinded themselves to these glaring faults until the damage became way too much to ignore (Genlock). Its always been a structural problem with how they developed their ENTIRE management staff through nepotism.

That's the thing though... Rooster Teeth is ashamed of their roots they've drank the Koolaid totally and it's the new dogma and the fact that their old content was sinful according to the new dogma meant it had to get removed. RT keeps their fanbase by hoping you remember all the good things you liked about them all the while, hating the things they made that you liked.
