I am not some sort of in-depth Christorian, I've mostly just followed the very iconic parts of his story over the years, but doesn't his biological brother have kids? I heard that he broke off all contact and refuses to deal with them, and he probably knows exactly why.
Unlike Chris, who grow up in stable household, able to afford two houses, two cars and all the toys consoles in the world, Chris’s HALFbrother Cole grew up relatively poor with his skank of a mother going from guy to guy.
He never even knew who his real father was.
And also unlike Chris, his halfbrother chose to hit the road the moment he turned 18, and managed to make a career in a competitive field (movie reviews), get married and live a normal life.
Some people hate Cole for different reasons, I don’t really know why.
What I like about Cole though, is that he’s living proof that we’re not just the result of our genetics or our upbringing. It’s also about choices.
Every day, Chris had the same choice his halfbrother had when he was 18: I want a normal, productive grown up life.
Chris, chose not to do that (Though in all fairness he had his autism to deal with)
Cole did, and has a comparatively successful life. While Chris is facing a pretty shitty future after having raped/had consensual incest sex with his 80 year old mother.
Well remember when he took his mother to the Prom, he may have not had any romantic feelings about her at that point in time, but as an outsider that looks so weird to see, I wonder how his classmates reacted...
Chris’s entire life has been full of creepy foreshadowing leading up to this: Barb spooning her grown up son.
The weird flirty way Chris acted when they were together.
The witness reports of the two acting creepily close and more like a couple than mother and son.
If this was a movie, we’d be bitching about the director ruining the plot twist with constant foreshadowing.
Still. Most just didn’t want to put two and two together because. Fuuuck. Nobody wanted to think of OPL literally fucking his 80 year old ghoul of a mother.
