If you never had this, it was a delicous fruity drink that got me through very many shifts at a horrible job. It's absolutely amazing. One day every store stopped stocking them.

God I wish I could understand the taste of lizard milk, as someone who was born too fucking late.

I remember trying it first in the early 2000's. Running with skateboarding crews, Mike Valleyley got sponsored by them around 2004 and everyone had to try it. It's still great, they occasionally have bottles at gas stations. Takes me back to a simpler time.

I like LiveWire that they still bring back from time to time but it has nothing on this.

The most recent novelty flavor was watermelon, which unfortunately sucked.
They also had some Baja variants (Baja Punch and Baja Flash) they dropped alongside Baja Blast coming in cans this summer. I didn't like the Punch (it tasted cheap and not in a good way), didn't get to try Flash yet (pineapple/coconut, I can't commit to a 12-pack.)

Yeah major melon tastes terrible. But then again I also hate melon flavored drinks/candy.

The only thing I miss is the BK Big Fish. They were making this from actual filets when McDonald's was still using nasty ground up who knows what fish parts. (McDonald's now uses actual filets).

The last time I visited a BK it was filthy and disgusting beyond belief, and it was really the final straw because while I'd occasionally gone there in the hopes of a good location, they were all absolutely filthy and the food was horrible. After the last time walking into one, I walked out without ordering.
Those were a nightmare. Took 4 minutes to fry a fish patty. Longest of any of the fried foods. Since sales of it were so low we would cook those to order.

The burgers were delicious straight off the broiler. The breakfast sausage patties are also a lot better run through the broiler. The BK Broiler was also a fine chicken sandwich. Better than the fried one on the long bun.

Back in the day we used to take cleaning seriously.

not so much discontinued but extremely rare to find and difficult to recreate from my experience; chocolate covered popcorn, and i'm not talking about a light drizzle of a chocolate sauce or a little baby dipping into a fountain, but the entire popped kernel coated in chocolate.
i had some of this golden shit from a foodstand one day while in the city back in 2013, i have yet to see anyone else make or even sell it since that day. nor do i know of a recipe that accurately represents what i had found or even comes close to the taste and texture online or through my odd experiments.
please come back magic foodstand man, teach me your secrets!

Now that I think about it, chocolate-coated popcorn sounds kinda tasty..

that sounds a lot like harry & david's moose munch, really good popcorn completely covered in chocolate

that's close! but it seems to be mixed in with a lot of other flavours whereas the stuff i got was just the chocolate popcorn.
also i'm not sure if these guys do international shipping and/or whether or not that would be a good idea in the first place; if i order this stuff it'll likely melt together during transport and i'll be left with an incredibly bumpy chocolate bar.

it really is, if you have the equipment or rough knowledge on how to make it, then i'd recommend atleast trying it

It still exists, they just discontinued most of the flavours and only sell it in parts of the U.S.

My nostalgia beverage suffered a similar cruel fate.

My local Kroger carries some of the flavors of Bawls as does my Microcenter (all flavors)

Hands down the best chips of all time, discontinued apparently because they were made with peanut oil and weaklings who have no right to live in a peanut world kept having allergic reactions to them. The Jalapeno and Cheddar flavour was top shelf and I wish they'd bring them back, Old Dutch kettle cooked kind of fills the void, but kettle cooked chips are a bit too greasy for my liking. Thunder Crunch had the perfect combination of flavour, dryness and crunch.
