Love it.
Sounds like the makings of a $150 million lawsuit.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but surely no one actually thinks Russell did that deliberately. No one familiar with Russell could imagine he was capable of such subtlety. If it had been intentional, it would have ended up something like, "David preferred to be called 'they,' so I will be referring to HIM by HIS proper pronouns (joke on the fact that 'they' isn't a legitimate pronoun choice)."
I love his repeated references to "people close to Greer" for a few reasons. Firstly, because I'm sure we all imagine a scenario like this: "So then the fake lawyer admitted I was innocent but I got convicted anyway. -"Uh huh. Yeah, great." "And then they said they hated disabled people! It was very unfair. Don't you agree?" -"Uhh... yeah, I guess. Okay, I have to go now." And then Greer turns that into "People close to Greer agreed the lawyer was discriminatory and unfair."
Secondly, because it's so obviously vague and unverifiable. People close to Greer say he's innocent. Okay, fine -- people close to Neiman say Greer is guilty. I guess we're at an impasse.
