I'm really not sure what makes Digi think he can make it in hip-hop. He makes Vanilla Ice and Snow seem black.

Isn't Hip-Hop pretty much mainstream with whites and another non-black ethnicities? If the audience in Elko back in April is anything to go by, it was mostly white/Latino in composition. Not sure why some Kiwis are trying to push the narrative that Digi will fail with hip-hop/rap solely/largely because he is white.
Man, why is Saint even bothering anymore? I understood why he was mad, with the attitude Conrad gave him back when they fell out and Conrad bailing on his brother Nate with their joint show, but like any good lolcow, Digi is doing a great job dunking on himself, he doesn't need everyone's favourite commie pink(o)-colored haired slime-brony to constantly remind him of his own failing career on his Twitter and Youtube profiles (Conrad just deletes them anyway) in some vain attempt to make him see sense. I guess Ben hasn't learnt from his past dealings with Chris-Chan it's never a good idea to directly engage with lolcows.
The joint Mumkey podcast once off proposal was a flop (not Saint's fault, mind); I hope the Patreon-exclusive podcast he did has any interested kino content but anything that can be said about Digi has been said.
At this rate, Ben might as well release the Brony lecture on the PCP channel, it's never going to come out otherwise.
[EDIT]: my bad; I forgot Ben doesn't even have the Brony lecture in the first place to release it. After all, a fan of his had to contact Riley to get Conrad to release the extra/behind-the-scenes footage a month or so back.
That being said, didn't Victor shoot the whole thing? I guess each PCP member took home an exclusive copy of their lectures? Then again, didn't the PCP channel lose a lot of their videos back when it got hacked because they didn't do proper backups? I'm surprised there seems to be only one copy of the Brony lecture and it's in Conrad's hands.

The show in Elko was mostly white because they're doing that juggalo nerdcore shit that only white people like and no one but white people who want to be seen as black allies go to hiphop shows where the main act is some 40 year old washed up nobody black dude.

Digi has become so painfully boring of late. This entire "moved back home with mom and dad and my totally super not gay boyfriend" arc is depressing as hell.
I find it really interesting that Digi refuses to upload the full video of his rap performance as well. I wonder if he fucked it up, or was just too embarrassed? I feel like someone who is as addicted to attention as Digi would post such a thing on every platform available. Very very odd.
Either way, things seem to be going downhill exactly as we all anticipated. And I can't imagine this trajectory changing anytime soon. Its only a matter of time until Digi is back to bagging groceries.. or he'll just leech off of his poor parents until they're in the ground. What a sad situation.
I guess the next thing I'm anticipating at this point is his break-up with super super straight totally not a pillow-biter boyfriend Bird.

Considering he posted hardly the first 15 seconds of his first song, just as the audience was started to react, I suspect he has this obsessive worry that his debut needs to be perfectly edited before it can be uploaded; it likely is fine as it is and he just needs to press the upload button, like he did back in April on Twitter, with, again, only the first minute of his after show performance in Elko.

Rap is mainstream as fuck and it's retarded to pretend otherwise. It is a style of music enjoyed in most countries and really popular with any race; Both as listeners and performers. Even I, that don't care about it, can understand how versatile of an artstyle it is.

Looks like Digi has certainly returned at least some of his old videos back to the main channel, but is it really all his main videos? His Steins;Gate 0 videos, for example, aren't back yet.
I doubt Digi did it as a "stunt for attention", he just has lost the plot of what makes a good career work on Youtube anymore.

A small detail, but it looks like they removed the colored outlines from their thumbnails (I guess it would look stupid if 98% of the videos were a single color) even though their "about" page still has an index explaining how the system works. What does and does not register as an inconsistency in Digi's mind seems to be a total crapshoot.

Digi does not “like rap.” His entire life has been focused on trying to seem cool and good at something without putting effort into it. The hiphop arc is him trying to be seen as an edgy musician because it is so different than being an anime nerd, it’s trying an opposite extreme for cred. It’s the same shit as the cigarettes, booze and drugs arcs. He wants to be admired for adding edgy things to himself.
it just so happens that to him hiphop is easy for a lazy fuck like himself. He doesn’t have to learn an instrument and he doesn’t have to write anything poetic. He can just take a 1-2 minute sample and scream A bunch of edgy phrases over it with curse words and call it art. This probably came from him finding Death Grips in his metal/experimental phase.
If people don’t like it then they don’t understand art, full stop. It’s an easy way to get attention and dismiss criticism without putting any thought into it.

The way Riley talks down to Digi's fans (ones who have stuck around and even respect his new pronouns) is frankly disgraceful; he should just admit he doesn't give two shits about Digi's previous career as an anituber and got Digi to bail on KHANTENT!, because managing a rapper performing to a dozen confused/spaced out audience members in bumfucknowhere, Nevada, is something Riley respects more than "a book report podcast" that was watched in the tens of thousands and (usually) enjoyed healthy like/dislike ratios, not to menton it actually had a decently healthy Patreon going on, unlike the Trial of the Golden Witch.

As you can see the frequency of release has declined ever since the PCP effectively died last summer. I sort of expected from the way he was talking about it that Ben would get this new episode out relatively quickly and tentatively expected it at the start of August, but then again it took him more than a year to release the Sonichu 102 lecture so we might be looking at another month or two of waiting. Let us hope he gets extra mad at Digi one day and powers through the editing.

By crashing back into his parents' house and trying to force a rap career on an disinterested, disenchanted and disgruntled former audience, Digi is a prime careercow; by lolcow standards, however, Digi is pretty tame, considering Riley does 90% of the talking for him and he otherwise retweets others' artwork and the odd conspiracy theory. He is no Boogie2988 or Dax/Dick in that he keeps digging the same hole almost every hour on Twitter. Even against Ben Saint's regular goading Digi more or less ignores him.
