In that youtube thumbnail I swear he looks like he's in the middle of a tranny transition. (edit: and kinda like johnny depp in that godawful wonka movie)

My fav moments, which I'm too lazy too link to, are him chewing out the guy saying 'well if your mom would stop being a whore..' Then when he said he'd kill someone's cat. And finally when he played internet tough guy and said basically don't piss off miles or you're next. I was pleasantly reminded of the last one just a bit ago, but it's top notch spoon.

Counter Monkey shows that Noah does have talent. Even though he goes on countless tangents, the real passion he has for the subject makes them still enjoyable.
While his old internet angry review style videos show their age, I think he could have done Vlogs or streams and been fine.
His huge weakness back when he actually did shit was that he constantly sperged out at his viewers, insulted them, belittled them, generally was a huge Asshole.
If I had any advice to Spoony if he started producing again would be to ignore chat completely. He clearly can't handle it without being a giant cunt.

Spoony is terrible when he's unscripted and put on the spot, and I don't think he can't improv to save his life, and a good D&D (or whatever TRPG) game relies on both the players and GM working together and going with whatever weird situation pops up. It really makes me wonder what his games were like, especially if the players did some stuff that he really didn't anticipate, or if they were just railroaded down his plots and adventures at all times. I imagine he's a "rocks fall, everyone dies" type of GM when things don't go his way, especially considering the way he made dickhead characters like in the Vampire LARP or the non-Jedi in a Jedi game that completely tried derailing things.

In a very LIGHT agreement with Spoon, when you are live streaming, it really does suck when someone starts giving you unsolicited advice on how to play. I stream and I ask folks to wait until I ask for chats help, he skipped that phase, but being the interweb age, most folks should know the internet etiquette. On the other hand, he rode that one person making a joke into the ground. 1 comment "hey you made an IT reference after the show is done, good for you" would have been fine, a little riff on them to laugh at, and move on, but he fucking hammered it in.. jeebus Noah.. grow a fucking thin skin, because sure as hell you're a long way from a thick skin.

I remember once he had a "roast me" video up on the spoonyexperiment website where fans could post insults to him on his forums and he read them out loud, and he took it in all good stride. He did a followup video a few days later where he roasted the IRL pictures of the people on his forums, and it was hilariously savage and brutal. As you'd expect from internet celebrity dickriders, these people were shattered over their favorite reviewer reminding them how hideous they are. Within a day or two, he took down both videos since he realized that his fans couldn't take jokes either. He definitely has a quick mind and is witty, as he was just scrolling through the pictures and riffing on them as far as I could tell and it was great. It's a shame they're lost, though.

The "roast" was deliberately inoffensive. But Noah didn't pull any punches. To this day, I couldn't tell you whether he mis-read the room, or if his heart rate immediately goes to 150 whenever he sees anything that could be interpreted as the slightest criticism.

To give an example of how tone-deaf that place was: The roast was cooked up by DeanTheAdequate, and he had the balls to suggest doing it again the following year. Like he's going to have any takers after that horror-show.

I may be misremembering since it was so long ago and deleted, but weren't there multiple gay jokes slung from both sides during the roasts?

On alignment; Spoony is true neutral. He's constistant except when he's not. He obeys the laws except when he doesn't. He's a hero except when he's the villain. He's Smeagol. He just wanted to go fishing and ended up killing his friend. He's a great guy who is friendly and outgoing. He's a narcissistic asshole who is a shut in. He's funny and happy. He's sad and depressing. He's bi-polar and that makes his alignment true neutral.

It's funny what a microcosm of his functional self that video was. Interacting positively with his fans and peers, appreciative of what he's been given, capable of taking and making jokes, and he looks presentable and energetic instead of being a bloated, pallid ghoul.
