Those truly in danger are the Afghans who helped the Americans. Other countries were probably counting on weeks to get the translators out, now they have a few days at most for those still in Kabul.

For those in the fallen cities, it’s now a matter of getting out via the borders, or keeping one’s head low and hoping the Taliban don’t notice.
