Another OSINT fren and I outside of KF speculated on using machine learning to build a profile on a person's mannerisms to determine the likelihood of if they're a sock or not. The idea was we would feed chatlogs into the program, tell it who it was, and use that to analyze a suspect person's account. We never took the idea past planning because even busting apart Discord chat logs is a PITA en-masse. You would have to clean out the HTML code, dates, filenames, and other users from the discussion. Also, Microsoft Azure/AWS isn't cheap and I didn't want something so questionable attached to my student account.

Maybe another Kiwi will take that idea and run with it. I'd love to see if something like this could actually be accurate. Though I wouldn't be surprised if it's something the glowies utilize.

It would be easy to mislead a NN by using expressions you don't normally use, but you know what I reckon the training with a decent GPU wouldn't be that long so I'll think about trying sum like this.

You're absolutely correct, which is why large samples would be best. From our experience, people had trouble keeping up the second identity after about a month or two and would normally crack. They would start showing hints of themselves with enough samples. This is why we considered Discord as our primary source because you can very easily get a large example. You could get an entire server in 5-10 minutes and the only thing stopping you was a front door or someone knowing that something was up.

I don't want to get too OT here and I'll be happy to discuss it over PMs if you have other questions.
