It is a disaster. From what I have read and heard on the radio, members of Congress have been trying to get any info from the State Department but they aren't getting any response. Tom Cotton said he has had over 100 Americans trapped sending messages saying they haven't heard anything since Sunday when they were told to shelter in place. I don't see how they get them out without sending the military in, no way in hell does the Taliban allow the US forces to go into these cities looking for them, sending in soldiers to get them out could really jeopardize everything going on at the airport, never mind our soldiers would have a whole city potentially coming down on them with new toys we have left.
