This was at one point considered to be one of the best selling PS2 titles that was actually fun to play.

Fast forward to 2021, everyone has already moved on from the NBA and we’ll never get anything close to this in modern day. And no, NBA 2K Playgrounds does not count.

Plus, the theme song was great:

The fact that they played this before the start menu came on and had you listening to Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth’s classic instrumental of T.R.O.Y really delivers the reason why this game is so memorable.

Is anyone here planning to get no more heroes 3?

Yeah i'll be picking it up but I have hardly played the other games. I played the first one for a little bit a long time ago but I do remember enjoying the gameplay.

Will be picking it up on Steam as I prefer to play on PC as long as I have the option, pretty funny how you can't play with Keyboard + Mouse but I guess it's better than it not coming to PC.

It doesn't bother me much since I would have played it with my controller anyway.

Eurogamer are killing off the forum on their website next month.

It used to be a really informative place a few years back but the regulars ran off anyone that wasn't a screaming lefty and trump broke a lot of brains over there.

Good riddance. The entire site will probably be gone within a few years anyway because their reporting is days late on most stories and their reviews skew to being in love with every indie piece of shit released.

Sounds like what GameFAQs did with their forums when people from NeoGAF and Eurogamer decided to make accounts over there. They did not outright kill off the forums, but it became unusable because of the same user base in question. One of the main reasons why I deleted my GFAQs account many years agor

Not sure if anyone is interested, but four days ago, Street Hoops officially turned 20 years old.

Between getting to play as DMX, Ludacris and Xzibit as unlockable characters, to even playing against the AND 1 crew in the game itself, it says a lot that this game still holds up in current day. It was almost overshadowed by the success of the NBA Street series when this first came out, and I’m surprised how it never received a sequel. Though, it’s probably for the best.

Also, the fact that you get to ball while playing this song is the icing on the cake:

Twisted Metal is apparently coming back as a game and a TV show in 2023.

David Jaffe apparently was contacted to work on the show. At this point people are guessing what form it will take. If it's going to be an online only thing or more like the originals with single player and local multiplayer with the option for online.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege to Add Transgender Operator

Ubisoft have announced the next operator being introduced to Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege will be transgender.

The announcement of the game’s third season in year six- dubbed Crystal Guard– promises to bring map and operator reworks, Elite Uniform and headgear being worn separately, HP increases and dropping armor, adjustments for player comfort, balance changes, big fixes, and seasonal weapon skins.

There is also a reduction in the R6 Credits and Renown cost of five operators; Maverick, Clash, Amaru, Goyo, and Zero (a.k.a. Sam Fisher). The new season will also see a new operator- Osa, a Croatian attacker with a clear shield. You can see her in action in the Crystal Guard reveal and Operator Gadget Gameplay & Starter Tips trailers below.
Some caught a particular piece of information in the character’s biography. Aside from her love 60s sci-fi and tinkering, her time at University saw her being isolated “due to her unorthodox approach and others’ attitudes towards her transition.”

Replying to GameSpot, Ubisoft revealed that Osa was transgender; as writer Simon Ducharme explained in a statement to them.

“The decision to create a transgender character was made early on, as part of our initiative to have an inclusive roster of Operators. The consultants, all of whom are trans people, wanted to make sure that Osa was presented as authentically and organically as possible. She was written by a queer person and she is voiced by a trans woman – and while her identity is certainly influenced by her gender, who she is in the Siege universe is centered on her talents, her influence on Nighthaven, and her close friendship to Kali.”

Her biography’s psychological profile states her favorite movie is (the fictitious 1967) Empress of the Plutomatons; “filled with futuristic technology and colorful imagery, and was ahead of its time in the presentation of a strong female protagonist. It’s easy to see the trajectory between that little girl, wonderstruck by robots and spaceships, and the genius that she is today.”

The profile also notes that her family, such as her aunt and brother, and fellow operator Kali showed support in “both her career and her transition.”

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is available on Windows PC (via Steam, and UPlay), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Isn't it transphobic to label someone as a "transgender operator" as if being transgender was a defining characteristic of theirs?

Also if trans women are real women then wouldn't he just be a "female operator" and calling them transgender just be enforcing the separation of trans women from the rest of women?

All of this is completely hypothetical of course, I'm not going to play shitty Ubisoft games whether they have troons in them or not.

Looks like Milo Yianoppolis

Embracer(formerly THQ Nordic, before that Nordic Games) reports that Valheim has sold 8 million copies and Biomutant has sold 1 million copies.

Biomutant was developed by a small team and apparently earned back the entire development cost in its first week. They did not say how much it sold in its first week but I think it's a good example of why smaller projects(AA as they call it) makes more sense than pumping 100 million into some AAA spectacle that might crash and burn spectacularly(financially that is) and bankrupt an entire studio overnight.

Looking to see if anyone here would be interested in a Crusader Kings 2 (same company that did Victoria, Hearts of Iron and Europa Universalis but set before all of those) with different periods starts, additional religions not found in the other games and a different focus (you control a dynasty instead of a country, yes they can control countries but if the dynasty dies out then game over) among other things in a mix of roleplaying the character you control and also the standards of grand strategy

Are they still fixing bio mutant? I know it's had a few patches but it's now gotten some pretty steep discounts where I'm considering getting the physical copy.
