US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

You guys deserve the shit you get, all of it.
Bruh if it's true for the U.S., it's true for the U.K. and every other Western country.
You have an illegally elected president, who can't string a sentence together, who's son is compromised by foreign nations, who is covered for by your own (supposed) media. You, in the land of the free, on the American internet, can't talk about or ask questions about Jan 6th, the 'master minds' of which are sat in jail, illegally held and stopped from receiving basic human rights. You can't talk about the lockdowns, mask mandates or jabs without being banned, cancelled or labelled as a fucking Nazi, without a shade of irony. Even though, there are videos, quotes and documents proving that the cancerous faggots in your country flip-flopping on their words. Doesn't matter, you'll be silenced anyway, comrade.
You absolutely can talk about what happened on Jan 6th, lockdowns, mask mandates, jabs, whatever the fuck you want without getting cancelled or labeled "a fucking nazi". Twitter/Facebook/Instagram/whatever the fuck isn't real life.

On that note, we've yet to have:
Roaming paki rape gangs
Police knocking on people's doors over mean comments on Twitter
Police arresting someone for leaving a bacon burger on a banister
Police arresting someone for throwing away a banana in front of a black guy
"Save a life, bin that knife!"
Police breaking into people's homes and beating the fuck out of them on suspicion that they had a guest over
Both parties unilaterally in agreement on covid rights abuses shenanigans

The list goes on. Like, I get that it's got to be frustrating to be someone from the U.K. seeing burgers shit all over your country - especially if you're patriotic - but dude every country has it's problems. The U.S. definitely has it's problems, only an idiot would deny that. I'll still say though that for all of america's faults, it's still miles better of a place to live than the overwhelming majority of places on Earth if only for the fact that due to the way it's structured, we can have individual states stand up against the tide of bullshit coming from the federal level - I.E. Florida and Texas on the covid horseshit.

All of that said, I'd rather people not shit on each other over this kind of stuff when the reason people from our countries have reason to play the "who's country is more awful" game is because of politicians, not the people. If you got to rage at someone, rage at them, yeah?
How the hell can you expect to win a foreign war or bring 'Freedom and Democracy' to other countries, when your own country is compromised?
>you
I don't really know how to explain this more succinctly than to admit that a lot of our voting public just sort of pulled the lever for R or D the past fifty years without thinking much further about it until Trump came along and put the pants of both parties' establishment politicians and their respective media apparatuses around their ankles. It's one of the primary reasons both parties (or the Uniparty, to be more accurate) fucking hate his ass.

You are not quite getting the issue. Why -now-. Why, over a span of only 2 days, did they suddenly abruptly switch. They didn't suddenly start losing money, they were already having issues with it when Trump was in and have been losing it -since he left office-. That isn't new, that isn't a chance. If they were going to turn on Biden over just money they'd have A: Done it well before now and B: Done it over a much larger span of time.
Because it's a top tier fuck up that may very well be one of the worst foreign policy disasters in US history. To the point that people from both sides are pissed with the Biden administration right now.

It's prime ratings bait. That's money to them. It's so way beyond the pale, it would be money left on the table for them.

It changed because they started losing money and access hand over fist. It's them scrambling to find a way to shore themselves up when they've severely poisoned the well.

Yes, they were already trending downwards, but Trump gave them those sweet, sweet rage clicks.
Dude they don't care about money. All losses they have are made up for by moneyed interests to keep them in business as propaganda outlets.

CNN, et al have been losing money hand over fist for years and that includes during Trump's term in office. It's never about money for MSM outlets.

I don't see what you're seeing. Both CNN and MSNBC went on a "Taliban gud gois!" campaign since Sunday (of course with obligatory "orange man bad!"). It is likely because right now, Biden is dependent on the Taliban to ALLOW US citizens to get to the airport to leave. CNN and MSNBC are also mouth pieces for the military when they want the public swayed a certain way and there should be no fear of those wrasckly Talibans scamps sneaking into the tens of thousands of new neighbors that they're going to be bringing here.

But why now, why so sudden? They have been in the shitter well before now, and had plenty of fodder to turn on him well before now. Something changed, that's our point.
Maybe they're planning on giving Biden the 25th amendment treatment? I realize nobody likes Kamala, but if your choices are a person nobody likes or another person nobody likes (and Biden is fast approaching this status) who also has dementia then you go with the person who has a functioning mind over the person without one.

It's absolutely true for every Western country. Where does it stem from? What mediums are used to push faggotry? All American

I've been banned from websites for daring to ask questions about jan 6th. I know it isn't real life, but don't those American based tech companies fall under the freedom of speech? (Genuinely no idea)

I agree with this, but the only frustration is seeing a decent part of the world fall to complete faggotry and narcissim. Our problems are usually from us being too laid back and British. What's your excuse? There is none, and you're only getting more and more fucked, with little to no end in sight. What happened to you America? You used to be cool.

Your country isn't awful,no country in the west is awful. I'm not raging, i'm hoping you guys will take back your country from the faggotry that is making the west head in the direction of awful.

When the russians and Taliban are offering more freedom and decency than the states, we've all got a big problem and seems as we can't come over there and sort it out, it's down to you guys.

Your election was nicked. I've got no horse in the race, it matters not one monkey's-fart to me who runs another country, but your election was rigged. Maybe all elections have been rigged for decades, all across the west?

I have already given my speculation as to why. I am just trying to get them to think past "It's just cause money" cause money hasn't been the driving motivator here for a -long- time.

I'm watching some British politicians discuss Bidens withdrawal from Afghanistan etc... A lot of the whining is about hurr durr women most affected, but the Brits seem to really be pissed about this. The vibe the woman I'm watching is giving is that Biden allowing the Taliban to retake Afghanistan is tantamount to america ignoring the Nazi rise. She's getting a lot of affirmations on her criticisms of US withdrawal.
The energy is shifting, pay attention

I'm not too sure about that given that various outlets in places like the U.K., Canada, etc push that shit as well. BBC and CBC come to mind.

The big sticking point that people bring up is that the 1A doesn't preclude private institutions, only government ones, from censoring people. As far as the concept of freedom of speech itself goes, sure they're censorious but places elsewhere exist online (for now) to discuss such topics without much fear of being yeeted.

I mean if "being too laid back and British" is a valid excuse, I see no reason "being too laid back and American" isn't. Burgers are known for being fat after all, which wouldn't exactly bring to mind a picture of a people who are known for activism.
Again though it's important to remember that the U.S., unlike most Western countries as far as I'm aware, has a lot of power invested in the states in contrast with the federal government. Though TPTB would obviously like to change that, for now at least and for the foreseeable future we have mechanisms in place to fight back against federal retardation on the (relatively) local level.

Feeling's mutual.

The Taliban are most certainly not offering more freedom and decency. Going from having LGBTWTFBBQ+-%$ bullshit to beheading apostates, non-believers, and instituting mandatory prayer among all the other horrible shit isn't what I'd call a change for the better.
Your election was nicked. I've got no horse in the race, it matters not one monkey's-fart to me who runs another country, but your election was rigged. Maybe all elections have been rigged for decades, all across the west?
I've been wondering about that myself. It does seem a little suspicious, doesn't it, that some of these politicians in D.C. have been in power for decades despite all their fuckups.

Well, they also send their law enforcement out to badger people over using bad words on twitter, so I can see how they can react that way. The fact is that the Taliban are the only ones who've managed to do communism right. (snark)

I have already given my speculation as to why. I am just trying to get them to think past "It's just cause money" cause money hasn't been the driving motivator here for a -long- time.
Not just politics either, but we're seeing it in a lot of entertainment as well. That guy that's basically destroyed the Star Trek Universe with Picard and Discovery just signed a five year extension with a massive payraise despite doing nothing but fail.

I think it's because the people in charge now are so ingrained in their ideology that they see it failing and are doubling down because of a negative feedback loop: the fact that people are resisting the message is PROOF that they are correct and they need to push the message harder.

Only Disney now is starting to draw back, but that's because Marvel movies losing NINE figures is a bit too big of a loss. The shitty woke Disney+ TV will carry on as usual because they aren't losing as much money.

but don't those American based tech companies fall under the freedom of speech? (Genuinely no idea)
The First Amendment only says the government cannot silence or punish you. But, as the meme goes, "they're private companies, they can do what they want/don't like it? Start your own blah blah blah."

That's the whole controversy surrounding Section 230. Is Big Tech a platform (a digital public square), or a publisher?

It's a shitty situation, where free market fundamentalism has come back to bite the Right's ass.
There is none, and you're only getting more and more fucked, with little to no end in sight. What happened to you America? You used to be cool.
We're a victim of our own success.

We outsourced our once-great industrial might for cheap plastic junk from China, replacing them with sedentary, white-collar service industry jobs.

Mass media and consoomerism turned us into a nation of bluepilled, complacent dullards living vicariously through others.

We won the Cold War (or did we?), and that illusion of invincibility went to our heads.

And all of this has been capitalized upon by clever, self-serving Machiavellians who never let a crisis go to waste. That's the reality behind what is normally ridiculed as a "conspiracy theory": they are usually the schemes of unrelated, independently-operating shitbags who find new and exciting opportunities to enrich and empower themselves.

Which, truth be told, is even more frightening than if it were being orchestrated by Darth Soros in his smoky control room.

So TLDR, to borrow a cliche quote from Alan Moore's commie jizzrag Watchmen:
"What happened to us? What happened to the American Dream?"

"It came true. You're looking at it."

You don't need a conspiracy theory for that. Representative democracy relies on a well-educated, well-informed electorate with skin in the game and the ability to follow-up on their elected representatives to work properly.

Ask anyone on the streets for the past 50 years if they have the faintest idea of what their representative or senator did since the previous election, and you'll see we tick none of the boxes there. They're more likely to know what some dumbass media-bating rep from a state half a continent away has said on twitter instead.

I get that, but forgive me if I'm given to wondering after what transpired during the 2020 election. It's a possibility I'm no longer willing to just toss aside out of hand anymore.

I'm honestly shocked that more Americans are not upset that Muslim extremists have Twitter accounts and are allowed to post but Orange Man is not. You would think after reading nonstop news articles about how the Taliban is going to murder every single tranny and fag in the land, that maybe Twitter retards and bread tube might cock an eyebrow at this on their social media platform of choice.

I'm not just saying this, it's something i've brought up over here, but the BBC is compromised or extremely fucking lazy lately. They keep posting articles using $ instead of £ - in the past it would be £ converted to $ if it was an American story. Now they just post British stories with $ in it. They also use American slang like ass, sneakers, flash light et al. So they're either ripping it straight from an American website (lazy) or have been sold behind the scenes.

The big sticking point that people bring up is that the 1A doesn't preclude private institutions, only government ones, from censoring people. I see. Private institutions creating a narrative for a government paid for by the people, while going against the rights of the people cannot end well.

There are two Americas:

1. BBQ pit boys - grilling up wild animals they've caught, drinking beers and shooting guns in the middle of nowhere, just chilling and grilling. Good America

2. twitter/reddit Americans and the faggotry celebs who look down on 1. Bad America.

Let's see less 2 and more 1!
The Taliban are most certainly not offering more freedom and decency. Going from having LGBTWTFBBQ+-%$ bullshit to beheading apostates, non-believers, and instituting mandatory prayer among all the other horrible shit isn't what I'd call a change for the better.
You know what? It was a bad example. Fuck the taliban and russians can suck it. I've nowt against fags, i just hate the push for it, you know?

I've been wondering about that myself. It does seem a little suspicious, doesn't it, that some of these politicians in D.C. have been in power for decades despite all their fuckups.
Not just America though, I wouldn't be surprised if this is a thing across the west/world. Brexit was rigged 100%. No way the Queen was allowing that shit to go ahead.

Anyway, i've shit up the thread enough. I'll knock off the Brit/Yank bants.

I mean, the Dems are infamous for rigging elections in large cities since forever. The Republicans only slightly less so. The federal level elections were usually trusted, but ever since Dubya (remember the whole clusterfuck with Al Gore and Florida voters?) we've been gradually sliding towards more and more mistrust of our electoral system.

Shit is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
