Ex-ponyfag here, what the fuck? The original designs had the point that the original designs were simple and easy to remember, these look so cluttered and look like shit! Don't get me started on Rarity, you know... the white unicorn? Even with a show about talking horses, these people want their "diversity".

Yeah, I don't get the trend of twitter pony artist redesigning the mane six. Because as you all ready said the original designs where all ready pretty good, so why change them? Then again I could say that about most of stuff posted here.

I can see doing it for fun (I've done some redesigns myself), but I find it entitled when people claim they're fixing the designs.
Personally I don't mind "fixing" term if the redisign is done as a criticism. Visuals are sometimes better communicating issues you have than other methods, like if you have issues with anatomy a quick pic can point it out better than trying describe in text form. Same with design, it can be more effective do a new design than express issues with words. Fixing is good enough term for that to differentiate them from other forms of fanart and resigns.
