Taliban offensive of 2021 and collapse of Afghan government.

a few prob bailed as the plane was beginning to taxi and pick up speed, except for the die hard few that somehow felt it was a simple as sitting on a train like all these cameltards do in their shit hole sandpits

I'd imagine some thought the plane might be forced to stop if there were people on it; and others just left it a bit too late to safely jump off and died as some horrible example of the sunk-cost-fallacy. I.e. "if I let go, I might get hurt... If I let go, I'll definitely break my legs... if I let go I'll be crippled... oh god, oh god, oh god..."

It's fucking horrible. Though equally, we can't rule out some people just being unaware enough that they thought they might be able to hold on.

As someone who'd like to belive in meritocracy I used to refuse to accept that incompetent assholes can reach such heights of power, but the more I look up the happenings in China and around the world in general the more I believe that complete morons run the world, so my pick is mostly 3 with a dash of 4.
Most of the Western and “free world”.

But why did the Biden administration drag their feet way past the May 1st deadline?
It surely hasn't worked out well for them politically, seeing how the world is mocking them and even their lapdog media is starting to low-key criticize them over this.

Here are some theories that I've seen on social media or come up with myself:
  • Theory 1: TDS. Leaving by May 1st was Trump's plan, so they just had to miss that deadline out of spite.

  • Theory 2: Forever war aspirations. They were biding their time and hoping that their glowniggers could pull off some fuckery that would make it politically viable to cancel the troop evacuation and stay in Afghanistan for another 20 years. But somehow that failed.

  • Theory 3: Incompetence. They failed to listen to the people in the military who could have told them that the Afghan government & army was a joke, and thus really got caught by surprise by the Taliban's fast takeover.

  • Theory 4: Vanity. Biden wanted the conclusion of the evacuation to coincide with the anniversary of 9/11 so that he could hold a schmaltzy speech along the lines of "Bush started this; I ended it!" and be celebrated by his lapdog media as the second-greatest president ever (after Black Jesus).
What do you think?

Everything but Theory 2.

Reactions: Overly Serious
I have a friend who’s Hazara that genuinely fears for his family back in the country. I honestly don’t think the Hazara or any Shiites are going to do well.

If there are 4 Million fucking Hazaras in Afghanistan and if they will not defend themselves I will not give them any sympathy.
Finland fought against the fucking Soviet Union with even less population. Man up or shut the fuck up. West will not defend you for yourselves.

If you have a Naruto, Sword Art Online or My Hero Academia body pillow you are worse than a kuffar and even worse than a - may Allah the almighty and his prophet Muhamed (peace be upon him) forgive me for even saying this word - shi'ia apostate. 🤮
Eh mt.lady and tsuyu get a pass

The problem is the only benefactor of Shiites is Iran (I’m not counting elements of Lebanon). The Taliban is almost certainly backed by Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and probably some elements in Pakistan. If Iran does something to defend them, that’s going to be an international crisis. I’m not Muslim, I’m Eastern Orthodox but I do not want innocents to die. I really wish Iran could just take over this venture but they cannot without there being some big incident.

Iran has been training the militias there. They’ll keep doing that and supplying them for as long as they can.

EDIT: Also Khost is about to light up. Militia apparently has started to get active again to the point the taliban are declaring they’re doing a “clearing operation.”

Foreign assistance is complete cope at this point. ANA got as much assistance it wanted from US but there was no will to fight. Hazaras surrendered almost all their areas to Taliban straight away, I have no sympathy for people that give up their lands without fighting.

Also, what did your Hazara friend do? Nothing?

Militia forces are biding time at the moment, moving around and going to ground, some sporadic fighting in the cities.

My theory: Ghani persuaded them to wait a bit longer so he could continue looting the country. Afghanistan's culture of bribe and graft will always be its undoing.

Not sure if this has been posted yet but the former vice president formed a resistance in Panjshir province composed of GoA units that didn't dip out of the country.
They probably won't last too long without foreign support which wont happen.
