If he’s studying in the USA there’s not a lot he can do right now. The only thing I can say is we do go shooting about twice a month.

I don’t know what’s going through someone’s mind besides what they tell me. I’m concerned only because this is my friend, not out of any real obligation. I voiced my opinion, you did yours, we disagree.

If I had another ocean away from my family and had financial obligations I wouldn’t exactly jump to go back to the hellhole that is Afghanistan, I would be concerned. I voiced a concern.

I absolutely detest your friend. Abandoning your family just four your financial obligations is absolutely horrendous. No matter if there is a ocean between my family and me, I will fight to my death to protect my family above all else.
