Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

If that's true nowadays, then no wonder the military is so fucked up. If you can't be wheels up and gone in 48 hours, you have no right to be considered at full readiness.

For fuck's sake, there used to be Rapid Ready Brigades (a rotating assignment) where even REMF units had to be able to be at the airport within 4 hours of the alert being called, loaded into the plane and watching the Air Force or the air field dwonks loading their shit into planes.

To clarify from my experience recently there are actually GRF units across the entire Army who are subject to 18 hour recall. Usually a company or half a BN that is specialized in something. I remember there were even armored units who had to be on a plane in short order.

For the 82nd one entire brigade is on GRF and subject to 18 hour recall and immediate combat drop if necessary. They don't combat deploy en mass like the rest of the div. They just sit and train and hate life. Cocksucker COs love it since they can micro manage their units due to "muh GRF". They take sadistic glee in recalling their guys as a test. There's even been time the GRF brigade has asked out of the deployment patch chart just to suck more GRF dick

And yes jumping into Kabul would literally kill some All Americans via priapism. They would talk about it until they died. Especially cause they could "dunk" on the 173rd who they claim didn't legitimately drop into Iraq as SOF had secured it prior.

Combination of the Welfare trap and a media blitz caused the black population to become what it is today. Reason why Trump got the black vote increase is the fact that blacks were leaving welfare, knew Trump was the reason why, and were returning the favor. Note the riots hitting black businesses harder than others. Black people that aren’t on welfare have a higher chance of voting right instead of left.

Lived at Ground Zero of Jogger Riots 2020, so I do know that it was immigrant-owned businesses that got hit hardest. Mainly Africans from Africa were the black businesses though, not American joggers. Even then, there were plenty of Somali hijabis yelling about how they need to burn it all down thanks to Omar. The rare unicorns that make it out and vote right should not discount the majority that are happy to burn, loot, and murder for gibs.

I'm not sure to be honest, I spent my whole career with the kids who jump out of planes so I can't tell what the weird side of the Army does.

The Rapid Ready Brigades sounds like the Desert Storm era version of the Immediate Reaction Force (IRF), which is tiered 1,2 and 3. One being the fastest and three the slowest. The 12-18 hours is the Airborne standard and the 82nd will not let you or anyone else forget it. No ceremony in the 82nd is complete without some crusty SGM giving a speech about how no other Army unit can meet the 82nd standard and how you must carry your legacy with pride blah blah blah you've probably heard something familiar.

The idea for IRF being

IRF 1 your "spear head units" or more accurately your "Oh shit everything's on fire! we need boots on ground now now now" units

IRF 2 your heavy units who take time to deploy simply because you can only load tanks and shit on planes so fast.

IRF 3 your REMFs

Like I said I don't know the deployment standards for these categories and there all different but every Army unit falls into one of these categories and IRF 1 rotates between BCTs.
