Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

The Rapid Ready Brigades sounds like the Desert Storm era version of the Immediate Reaction Force (IRF), which is tiered 1,2 and 3. One being the fastest and three the slowest. Like I said I don't know the deployment standards for these categories and there all different but every Army unit falls into one of these categories and IRF 1 rotates between BCTs.

Wanna know something hilarious, they could have evacuated Afghanistan with an already existing playbook that just needed dusting off and the names crossed out and changed.

The old "Evacuate Western German" plans from pre-Fall of the Wall. Hell, those even covered a fighting retreat with getting the dependents out while facing an enemy with extensive anti-air assets.

Which is why this complete fucking failure boggles my mind.

Trust me I know it's all smoke and bluster, let's not forget who the most heavily deployed unit in the GWOT is: fucking 10th Mountain. Probably just wanted to get out of the fucking cold for a little bit, LOL. Still fuck legs.

Even without digging up old cold war plans this was completely avoidable, this would a comedy of errors if people weren't really going to die because of all this arrogance, apathy, and incompetence. Also IRF is just the newest name it used to be the Global Response Force, they change the name every couple of years and claim it's something new. Anything to build up that OER/NCOER I guess.

She got her ass handed to her by Tulsi Gabbard of all people, and was only picked as VP because race riots swept the country at the exact right moment and she happened to be half black.
