RWBY - The Hindenburg on which Rooster Teeth rests its hopes, dreams and future

I thought it was that Monty left with a roadmap, but RT got rid of the people who knew what went on in his head, and proceeded to go rogue.
On the one hand it seems plausible that may be the case, but at the end of the day the two people towing that line were a guy who was distraught at the very recent losss of a good friend and also just lost his job, and the secret squirrel shotgun wedded wife of the deceased who used the life insurance for a tit job (when she was already pretty good looking with small booba btw) and who also killed him.

Considering the source I doubt that Monty had an actual "road map" and it was more a case of "I knew Monty and so I feel like I have insight on what he wanted to do". Combine that with a bit of trauma from aforementioned death and possible (likely) ulterior motives and I doubt that the mythical "vision" of Monty Oum was truly known to anyone but Monty himself.

The best way to watch RWBY is to not watch RWBY. Honestly the best watch method tbh.
Came for the Hunters, Stayed for the popcorn.

Also, if you want hunters killing the shit out of their prey, go for Bloodborne or the Witcher. Hell, Gehrman's Burial Blade does a great job being a switcheroo weapon that the entire show's weapon catalog, and that's just one weapon over 17 more from the game alone.

Mmm, agreed. I think people put too much faith in Shane's words when they probably shouldn't.

Honestly my thoughts on Shane’s letter are that he was mourning his friend’s death, but given all the shit RoosterTeeth’s going through (seriously how many scandals have come out of them?), he wasn’t entirely wrong about RT either.

Oh, I'm sure there were some grains of truth in there, but I wouldn't put stock in everything he said.

I'm sure he wasn't just talking out of his ass but he definitely wasn't being entirely straight up with that letter.

Well, when RT never gave a response to give their side of the story, even to say that Monty was an employee of RT when he made RWBY, thus making RT owners of the IP (I believe that’s how American IP law works), it becomes easier to believe Shane, especially when quality goes off a cliff, the show changes drastically, and thus the letter can ring true.

The only way to get the truth is either a leak, or someone goes zero fucks given after a bad company parting.

The biggest issue with that is the fact that we're so far after the fact that it doesn't even matter anymore anyways.

I know we generally hate Tumblr but there was a post I enjoyed essentially pointing out that if it weren’t for Ironwood‘s actions throughout Volume 8, RWBY would have had a much harder time dealing with Salem, and that you cannot remove Ironwood without removing the ‘good’ ending.

When you get past all the simps, there are fans of RWBY who are actually willing to acknowledge it has flaws.

Its already established that Team RWBY and Ironwood switched positions on saving mantle at the start of the latest season from where they were last season. Making Team RWBY's heel turn on Ironwood pointless and self-destructive.

Not that the result of Team RWBY's actions being the destruction of an entire kingdom and the subsequent stranding of all its citizens in the middle of a fucking desert wasn't proof enough of how badly they fucked up.

Talk about shooting themselves in both their feets and then piss in their own eyeballs with this decision.

If anything it just validates them being overly sensitive snowflakes incapable of any form of criticisms whatsoever to the point where the see RWBY Critics as nothing more than the Bloods against their Crisps.

I don't know whether to laugh at how toxic and pathetic this fandom has become or just be disgusted at how they failed to realize that this decision would only validate the opinions of those calling them snowflakes in the first place with just how incapable of listening to anything negative about them in the most minute form.

Like, if they're so fucking incapable of growing thick skin on the internet, what's the point of even building this fucking reddit in the first place? Might as well just shut the whole thing down and bury their heads down their own mud, smelling their own farts and go to their hug boxes in real life or private Discord groups.

RWBY fanatics are so fucking pathetic.
