To add to this; if you really really really need to watch RWBY, go watch My Hero Academia instead, it's just better. The best way to watch RWBY is to not watch RWBY. Honestly the best watch method tbh.

On the one hand it seems plausible that may be the case, but at the end of the day the two people towing that line were a guy who was distraught at the very recent losss of a good friend and also just lost his job, and the secret squirrel shotgun wedded wife of the deceased who used the life insurance for a tit job (when she was already pretty good looking with small booba btw) and who also killed him.I thought it was that Monty left with a roadmap, but RT got rid of the people who knew what went on in his head, and proceeded to go rogue.

Mmm, agreed. I think people put too much faith in Shane's words when they probably shouldn't.On the one hand it seems plausible that may be the case, but at the end of the day the two people towing that line were a guy who was distraught at the very recent losss of a good friend and also just lost his job, and the secret squirrel shotgun wedded wife of the deceased who used the life insurance for a tit job (when she was already pretty good looking with small booba btw) and who also killed him.
Considering the source I doubt that Monty had an actual "road map" and it was more a case of "I knew Monty and so I feel like I have insight on what he wanted to do". Combine that with a bit of trauma from aforementioned death and possible (likely) ulterior motives and I doubt that the mythical "vision" of Monty Oum was truly known to anyone but Monty himself.
Honestly my thoughts on Shane’s letter are that he was mourning his friend’s death, but given all the shit RoosterTeeth’s going through (seriously how many scandals have come out of them?), he wasn’t entirely wrong about RT either.Mmm, agreed. Oh, I'm sure there were some grains of truth in there, but I wouldn't put stock in everything he said.Honestly my thoughts on Shane’s letter are that he was mourning his friend’s death, but given all the shit RoosterTeeth’s going through (seriously how many scandals have come out of them?), he wasn’t entirely wrong about RT either.
I'm sure he wasn't just talking out of his ass but he definitely wasn't being entirely straight up with that letter.Honestly my thoughts on Shane’s letter are that he was mourning his friend’s death, but given all the shit RoosterTeeth’s going through (seriously how many scandals have come out of them?), he wasn’t entirely wrong about RT either.

Well, when RT never gave a response to give their side of the story, even to say that Monty was an employee of RT when he made RWBY, thus making RT owners of the IP (I believe that’s how American IP law works), it becomes easier to believe Shane, especially when quality goes off a cliff, the show changes drastically, and thus the letter can ring true.I'm sure he wasn't just talking out of his ass but he definitely wasn't being entirely straight up with that letter.
The biggest issue with that is the fact that we're so far after the fact that it doesn't even matter anymore anyways.Well, when RT never gave a response to give their side of the story, even to say that Monty was an employee of RT when he made RWBY, thus making RT owners of the IP (I believe that’s how American IP law works), it becomes easier to believe Shane, especially when quality goes off a cliff, the show changes drastically, and thus the letter can ring true.
The only way to get the truth is either a leak, or someone goes zero fucks given after a bad company parting.
That too. For an Internet company, you’d think RT would know how to handle a scandal. The biggest issue with that is the fact that we're so far after the fact that it doesn't even matter anymore anyways.
My boi Ironwood dindu nuffin wrongI know we generally hate Tumblr but there was a post I enjoyed essentially pointing out that if it weren’t for Ironwood‘s actions throughout Volume 8, RWBY would have had a much harder time dealing with Salem, and that you cannot remove Ironwood without removing the ‘good’ ending.

When you get past all the simps, there are fans of RWBY who are actually willing to acknowledge it has flaws.I know we generally hate Tumblr but there was a post I enjoyed essentially pointing out that if it weren’t for Ironwood‘s actions throughout Volume 8, RWBY would have had a much harder time dealing with Salem, and that you cannot remove Ironwood without removing the ‘good’ ending.

Its already established that Team RWBY and Ironwood switched positions on saving mantle at the start of the latest season from where they were last season. Making Team RWBY's heel turn on Ironwood pointless and self-destructive.I know we generally hate Tumblr but there was a post I enjoyed essentially pointing out that if it weren’t for Ironwood‘s actions throughout Volume 8, RWBY would have had a much harder time dealing with Salem, and that you cannot remove Ironwood without removing the ‘good’ ending.

And then they have to fight the people they were fanboying over.Blame the animators. That's what they believe is the source for the comedy of their anime.
Even people on the RWBY subreddit think this is dumb since almost everyone downvoted the post announcing this.
Talk about shooting themselves in both their feets and then piss in their own eyeballs with this decision.
